Updated — I was way wrong — these are great wipes!
The updated review:After using these and giving a few to my buddies — who really liked them! — I realized I reviewed THE WRONG PRODUCT! So I am updating my review to put things right. These — the Combat Wipes — are really good. They get you clean, they leave no smell, they stay in one piece, they are heavy enough to hold a LOT of grime, and don’t bother even sensitive skin. I took them on a wilderness camping trip and all four of the crew really liked them. (It was a pack it in, pack it out trip, so they got plenty of hard use.) They are not cheap, so I don’t use them everyday, but they are really good when you need them.For those wondering, I wrote the original review thinking these wipes rhymed with Prude or Jude, etc. And those wipes — I still don’t like them.My apologies for getting these products confused!The original review:I picked up a bunch of these to keep in my toolbox and truck. The chemical solution is fine — leaves a clean feel, no sticky residue, and no smell. But the fabric/tissue is NOT up to the job. It quickly rolls into a ball and the wipe is useless past that. You end up using several sheets for what should be a one-sheet job. I will use them up, but be trying some other wipes next time. Thanks for reading, and I hope this is helpful!

A little small but still does a good job!
I received the Combat Wipes quickly. The packaging size is very compact (maybe 4â x 2 1/2â) so itâs great for traveling. I bought them specifically because I am about to travel around the country in a small vintage camper that has no shower & there may be times I will camp & not be able to shower. I am a little disappointed in the size & thickness of these wipes. That description is likely in the specs on Amazon & I shouldâve read a little more. I wanted something a little smaller than the âbodyâ wipes that hospitals use but something a little healthier than a âbaby wipe.â The wipes are smaller than my âfacialâ wipes though which seems odd given they are specifically for areas of the body and called âcombat.â They are also pretty thin & âroll upâ when using to wipe body parts, which makes you have to shake them out again to lay out flat in your palm again. Making them a little bigger & thicker would lend more to the âcombatâ name & be more useable, but then again you would sacrifice their compact size, which is also an important spec/reason why people may choose these. Now for the good…I really didnât expect much as far as cleanliness/feeling freshened up due to their size but I have really felt very refreshed the several times I have used them when Iâve not been able to shower for the day. They really did what they were supposed to. I didnât feel grimy or like I hadnât showered at all! They have a very light scent which is nice. I have 4 packs so I wonât have to buy for awhile though I would likely buy them again….but would just like a little bigger size. Now that I think about it , maybe there is a bigger size & I just didnât notice that.

Good wipes
These are a great option to clean while hunting or camping, and they don’t have that hey dude smell. One warning: These bad boys will freeze on you if they are left on the ground in cold weather. I placed them near the Hester, and within minutes, they were unfrozen.

The pluses: love the biodegradability; leaves skin feeling clean, smooth and soft; fragrance is nice, not overpowering; folded individually so when I pull one out the next one doesn’t try to follow it; compact size and lightweight; resealable tape opening is secureWhat I didn’t like: the size of each wipe is not oversized as claimed in product advertising, it is barely the size of a small washcloth, and because it is so small and very thin, more than one is required if you expect to get clean; the ingredients are not listed in product photos or in product description, so I had to just hope there was nothing in them that would affect me, after receiving product and reading the ingredients I am very dismayed at the number of chemicals, some I’ve never heard of and will need to research before I put this on my skin again; the cost per wipe was fair for one wipe per day, but at 2 or more per day it adds up to be rather expensive compared to other disposable wipes, therefore these will be saved for use only in situations where I need to limit trash carry out.I love that this company is addressing the need for biodegradable products. I just wish it was a better value for the dollar and used more natural ingredients in the cleansing formula.

This is very dissapointing, I bought an entire box and cannot use any of them! They stink like mens cologne…I thought they would be more natural considering…. They are same size and thickness as any other wipes nothing special. What a waste of money.
