Beautiful mic, but not as great as I was expecting 🙁
So first off the price is good, sound is good, it picks up a decent amount of noise, not too much. The only thing I hate is that I prefer to use an XLR cable alone but without the C-Type (that it comes with) it will not turn on the lights nor allow you to mute yourself, and the instructions say to connect both cables or it won’t work well. If you want to use an XLR cable you won’t be able to mute yourself even with the c-type cable plugged in at the same time…The lights will be on but there isn’t a mute function while XLR cable is plugged in as well. Also wish it had more solid color light options. For some reason my pc detects the mic as a speaker which is annoying. I’d return the mic but I actually do want it. Though it has some flaws, it looks expensive and pretty, easy to set up and comfortable height. The height is perfect so if you do not want or have a boom arm/mic mount it’s perfect not to mention is not expensive. It’s a good budget mic.Also if you want it to stay in place you can turn the side knobs. Hope this helps someone 🙂
