Got this to take on a trip with the family and liked the idea of having a netting they can peer through (my pup generally feels better seeing us). Installation wasnât difficult and pretty self explanatory, just make sure the dimensions fit your vehicle or it could end up baggy or too tight. Material is also durable as she can be relatively fidgety and it didnât sustain any tears. My only complaint is one of the safety locks was broken and unusable. It stayed in place the entire trip and my pup was able to relax on the road!

Iâve purchased many car hammocks in the past and this one is my favorite. It keeps my 3 month old puppy contained and the hair from my insanely sheddy 70lb dog from getting everywhere. I love that the sides attach to the door handle so the puppy canât jump out and the hair doesnât pile up along the door. It also doesnât allow hair/sand to get onto the car seat thru the holes for seat belts which has been an issue for me in the past. The only critique I have is that the material is slightly slick so my dogs slid a bit at first, but tossing down a blanket fixed that and made it even more cozy for them.

It lasted us less than a year
It is definitely easy to set up, take down, wash, dry – however, it’s now completely ripping at the bottom and the side. We’ve only had this for less than a year for our Bernese Mountain Dog puppy who was originally 12 lbs and now is 80 lbs. We’re not in the car often, but the jumping in and out of the car has already proven to rip the bottom. Now this is not super expensive but I would have imagined that it would’ve lasted more than 1 year. So I would recommend this product as long as you’re OK to replace it every year (which my husband and I are not) – we’re looking for something that is durable and sustainable.
