    Looks good but needs bracing.
My two 9 month old cats managed to tip this over in less than 5 minutes despite being as tightly wedge between the ceiling, floor and wall as possible. The joints of the posts are able to distort just enough to bow and allow it to tip over and I tightened everything as much as possible. I’m buying wall anchors hoping it fixes the problem because my cats loved it until it fell.

Just what I was looking for
My baby loves it! It was simple to set up, just needed a taller person to help me push it near the top.

Easy to assemble with 2 people
Pretty easy to assemble with 2 people. The particle board is what keeps the unit upright along with pressure from the ceiling. Personally, I added some anchoring to the ceiling to keep it from tipping over and potentially damaging the board at the bottom as my cat is pretty active when she “goes to town” on tearing up (or into) her new toys. That was a sound decision when I walked in and saw her partially dangling from it and clawing her way up. Its a good size and works for my home in the flat roof areas, it didn’t work too well in the slanted areas and would need a wedge for stability.

    This can be perfect
I was having a hard time looking for a cat tree that was simple and tall enough for my space and this was perfect. My space is about 110″ tall and this still had a few inches to go which was good. My kitten is still a little nervous to go the the top but she does like it. Each shelf is adjustable in direction, and honestly, you can rearrange the post to which ever order you want. I wish I knew that. You just have to keep the top one for the top because it’s a special screw and different size from the rest.Update: After a few months, brought the stars down. The sturdiness is a problem. When my kitten goes to each level the pressure must pull down on the tightness of the pole so it gets loose. The tree has fell a few times. I moved it to a place between the windows so I can tie string around both sides to secure it.

    Wrong color
Ordered the grey one and received the beige one instead…. Super annoying, but good product other than that.

    Cat loves it!
My cat is getting older and is less interested in toys and new things nowadays. But once I set this up, she climbed right up and started playing with it. I love the different layers, gives it some variety!

Works With Our Ten Foot Ceilings
EDIT: I’m editing my original review to say that I still love that the different pieces that come with this tree, and that it can accommodate our ten foot ceilings, but unfortunately, our two seven month old kittens have managed to knock it over twice. Neither time where I could see it, of course! I just hear a crash and come into the room and find it angled across the room. My husband attached straps to two different parts of the tree’s pole then screwed the straps into the window panes. This should prevent the tree from falling over in the future, and I would have loved it if the tree included some type of extra mounting to begin with.Original Review:We live in a historic house with ten foot ceilings and it’s been difficult to make a floor-to-ceiling cat tree work in our space. Prior to this tree, we created a taller one by using the pieces of two different floor-to-ceiling trees. And while it allowed us to get the height we wanted, the unit was always wobbly. But this tree have solved the problem! It has a strong base reinforced with four different poles you screw in (inside the cat house at the bottom). But it doesn’t just stop there. There are four balls that can be attached if you like, a sort of “pocket” shelf for nestling, and a shelf with an extended edge that also has a rim around allowing your cat to sleep without spilling over the side. (We needed this for our calico!) And two of the center pole segments are sisal which is great for scratching, or using to climb to great heights.Aesthetically, this is one of the better cat trees out there, and I found it easy to fit it in with the rest of our decor. It’s tall, but not wide, and doesn’t have any of the bulkier pieces that take up a lot of horizontal space like other trees we’ve tried. The gray is an added bonus as it doesn’t show dirt.

    Tighten not easy
Having issues keeping it tight to the ceiling. Cats don’t feel secure on the tree.
