So much fun for 2 Cats
We have two beautiful cats, Cinnamon and Savannah. They are brother and sister. We enclosed our front porch so they could go outside safely and we bought this Cat Tree Tower to let them get better views from a higher perspective. We have many cat towers in the house but this Cat Tree Condo is the best one – easy to assemble and adorable. Both of my cats want to be on it at the same time and my 22 pound Cinnamon even tried to get in the hammock because his sister wouldn’t give up the top shelf. He actually rolled his biig body into it. This Globlazer Cactus Cat Tree Tower is a great deal, very sturdy and your cat or cats will love it – we do!

Happy cat
I bought this cat tower to replace the one that was soaked during hurricane Hugo. Didn’t know how my cat was going to react to a new one, but he loves it. He was trying to get into it before while I was trying to put it together. Assembly was very easy and didn’t take much time. Once I set it in the room for him, it became his favotire place to relax. In the evenings he curles up on the top platform.

Not really for large cats.
I bought this unit because I liked the simple style/design. We have two cats, a female that weighs about 11 lbs and a male that weighs about 16 lbs. The female likes to use a hammock for sleeping, and she barely fits in this one…it will be acceptable but I was expecting a larger hammock size. The old tower this unit was purchased to replace had a hammock approx 2″ larger in diameter. I do like the design, it will be easy to remove the two scratching posts for repair…the male cat we have will quickly destroy them if I don’t make occasional repairs. I wish someone would come up with a more durable scratching post design/surface. This male cat completely ignores any kind of scratching board, so that’s not an option.
Nice design but should be larger to handle full sized house cats.

My cats say meow
Both my cats are mature and fluffy. They can both get in and out of the sections with ease. They give two paws up. Assembly was fast and easy. No issues with alignment. Love the unique design.

attractive, pretty stable, not great quality, need 2 to put together.
When I saw this on amazon, I really liked the look of it… and the sand and cactus green combination is very pleasant, natural looking. I thought it might be a better starter tree for my scaredy-cat than the first much taller one which he has avoided…maybe he’s just not that into climbing unless it’s on furniture?
I was was right about the general look and size of it.. placed next to his over-loved scratching post (photo 1). He has even begun mildly exploring this tree! (perhaps due to being next to already loved item?). I don’t have a spare wall to hook it to (strap attached), but so far it stands up steady, against a book shelf, and doesn’t take up too much space. It’s light enough to easily move out of the way. The house, with 2 openings, is a generous size, as is the bed on top, enclosed by a soft spongy lip. The other platforms and basket are also a good size for adult cat.. or 2 small ones. There is a lot to like about this tree.
The little mouse on elastic string (photo 5) is a pretty long haired mouse.. that can be replaced.. HOWEVER looks rather delicate, covered cardboard rather than stuffed.. as my cat prefers. The ‘mouse’ stick slots into a hole, unsecured, and the material doesn’t fully cover the stick (photo 3). The screw tops are plainly visible throughout (photo 2). These things may not be a real problem, but it does forewarn a lack of quality control.
It’s still early days, but unfortunately it seems the QUALITY of this cat-tree is pretty low, I doubt it will last long with an active, adult cat.
WHY? It is mostly covered with a soft attractive boucle material, stretchy, not glued to base, and so thin/loose I can easily pinch it away from the base everywhere (photo 4). I can’t be sure, but after seeing what my cat has done to heavy duty, thick, firmly attached sisal, this boucle fabric won’t survive his claws for long. The sides of the little house are just stretched fabric…should he decide to scratch at them.
IN photo 1, you can see the height level where my cat scratches with a stretch.. On this cat tree ( and many others too) there is no sisal at this level, instead these posts are covered with the thin boucle. The only sisal wrapped posts are the two, same height, at the bottom left, at a height my adult cat never scratches. And located under the lowest platform. The top and bottom 3-4 inches of these posts are boucle, not sisal.
If it were half the price, I might recommend it for short term use.. and probably better for kittens.
It was also difficult to put together… though I am experienced at building things, despite the usual lack of good instructions, I actually had to ask a friend for help setting up the little house. It was impossible without an extra set of hands: The outside material is fixed to top ( wooden shelf) AND the base. It has to be held up and stretched over and around the outside of 4 thin posts at the same time as fitting and screwing the posts in. Definitely not for only 2 hands. Might be even easier with 3 people. Once the house is set up the rest of the put-together was straightforward and fairly easy.
