Great Game for Families and Friends
I have bought several copies of the game. One for myself and two as gifts. Good for parties or game night. You break into two groups and yell words. Very simple and enjoyable. We played it the last two Thanksgivings at my family’s gathering. There is room for people of all ages, really. Fast-paced and fun. Really appreciate the very quick video that explains the rules. I just pull it up on the TV, people watch, and they are ready to play from that instead of getting bored over the reading of rules.

I don’t know if its the look of the board or what, but I couldn’t interest my teenage grandkids in giving this game a try. Seems like it will be most fun with 2 or 3 people per team. Rules are easy.

This was a Christmas gift for our family and our teens love it. You take turns giving words in a given catergory that match one of the 3 showing letters. It’s a race against the timer to see which team can provide more answers.

We love family game nights so are always looking for fun, new games. This one was just ok. Itâs well made and visually pleasing. Was fun to play once but it probably wonât be one we play more than once. It was a little cumbersome to keep track of how many times each team went around the circle and got chaotic with too many people playing. Fair quality for the price.

Jedoch: sowohl das Spielmaterial als auch die Regeln und das Video sind auf englisch.Das Grundprinzip: Es sind auf dem Spielbrett drei Anfangsbuchstaben markiert, die auf dem Spielbrett durch die Spielfigur hervorgehoben sind. Das Team, das gerade am Zug ist, muss zu der gezogenen Karte, die eine Kategorie repräsentiert (z. B. Office material) nun Begriffe finden, die mit einen dieser Buchstaben beginnen. Ist dies erfolgreich, bewegt sich die Spielfigur und damit ändern sich auch die auf dem Spielbrett markierten Anfangsbuchstaben für den nächsten Ratevorgang. Nachdem beide Teams (getrennt voneinander) 60 Sekunden lang Wörter mehr oder weniger erfolgreich gesucht haben, werden die Punkte des Teams gezählt, das auf dem Spielbrett weiter vorangekommen ist. Die Möglichkeit, Wörter aus drei Anfangsbuchstaben zu finden, bietet auch im deutschen Kontext genug Spielraum und hat zu keinen Komplikationen geführt.In der Theorie lässt sich das Spiel so auch zu zweit spielen und grundsätzlich können die Teams auch ungleicher GröÃe sein. In der Praxis spielt es definitiv seine Stärken aus, wenn man es in einer gröÃeren Gruppe spielt. Es sollten aber nicht zu viele Spieler in einem Team sein, da man ansonsten mehr mit Bewegen der Figur als mit tatsächlichem Wortsuchen beschäftigt ist. Das liegt auch daran, dass sich innerhalb einer Runde die Kategorie nicht ändert und man ggf. bereits die Begriffe vordenken kann, wenn man ein Team aus zu vielen Personen hat. Dann lohnt sich auch das “shooting out loud”.Fazit: Das Spiel ist schnell erklärt und nach einer Proberunde waren die Regeln bereits von allen Spielern verinnerlicht. Es ist kurzweilig, unterhaltsam, abwechslungsreich und lockert auch gut eine angespannte Stimmung auf – somit hatten wir am ersten Spieleabend bereits unseren Spaà damit und ich werde es auch zukünftig immer wieder gerne auspacken.
