This Eufy lock solved my worries 100%! I had an old lock and wanted something that can be key free when needed. I have a doorbell camera and security camera, so did not need a cam on the door lock, but this lock appears in my security app so that the locked and unlocked status can be checked. Imagine- you are in bed and wonder if the front door is locked- now you just check on the app and you can see it there! If you are out and think you may have left the door unlocked, you can check it! Easy Installation And Set-up
I am truly impressed with the eufy Smart Lock C30. I have had smart locks previously and between inaccurate installation instructions and confusing programming steps, the eufy is leaps and bounds ahead. The installation was seamless and the App makes programming a breeze. All worked as described with no hassle. Locks preforms great and I really enjoy the remove managing options. Great value for money!

The smart lock works flawlessly. But the installation was less than perfect. First, no manual was included. You have to see the instructions on your smartphone. It indicated that you could download a PDF, but that turned out to be false. There is no manual in PDF form for the C30. The instructions left much to be desired, even beyond the fact that you have to repeatedly unlock your phone while going through them. Anyway, once the installation was done, calibration was an issue. The instructions said to have the door closed to calibrate, but that was not possible. After several tries, I opened the door and tried the calibration, and it went through. I have no idea whether this is a security issue.Anyway, now that the lock is in place, it works. All the features – like auto-lock – work. And the app is working properly. The lock itself looks sleek and nice. And the battery install will be a cinch when the time comes. So, yeah, 5 stars for the hardware, 2 (or even 1) stars for the installation manual.

Decent smart lock, but non-replaceable cylinders
I got one of these to try out. I like that the keypad is real buttons vs a touchpad, and it was pretty easy to set up. It works fine with the app, and it’s pretty easy to manage codes. Also it’s cheap compared to most smart locks, let’s not forget that.Where it would be nice is if you could replace the backup key cylinder on it with another one. The one that it comes looks like it works with standard Schlage keys, but it’s just a little shorter and the face of the plug is just a little narrower in diameter than a normal one. This means that you’ll have trouble if you want to replace it with a standard one. While it looks like you can modify a normal cylinder to work with it, it would be nice if it just worked with the standard.That said, working with standard keys is at least progress from the non-standard ones they used to have.

Iâm bad about taking keys with me on dog walks and didnât love leaving the door unlocked so I decided to go keyless. This was very easy to install, however there was a lag of about 12 hours for the app to start recorded actions (unlocking/locking details). After that itâs been working really smooth. I love that the app reports the action quickly so if something happened I would know right away and not 30 min later. I love that you can have a lot of pins – I have one for each family member and friends that I donât mind having access. The best part for me is that you can delete a pin – so if you change cleaners or end a relationship you donât have to reset all of them. Your guests also know. And will temper their own pin. You can see who entered the house and not a generic, door open. I havenât hooked it up to my Alexa yet, but overall I am very satisfied!

Simple installation and fits my need
Got eufy C210 and it works how I like it for a rental. Installation was simple, just replace with current deadbolt with existing lock holes. Assigned code for each tenants and I can check if the door was lock remotely. It’s Wi-Fi so I am waiting to see how long the batteries will last. The only small thing I don’t like is the one-key locking take few seconds to enact on the keypad. The tenants sometimes don’t lock it properly.Then I found C30 with physical number keys and it costs few dollars less. Same easy installation and the functions as I need it. And now the one-key locking response immediately! Everything I need is the same as before and it’s cheaper. This the least expensive WiFi smart lock I can find.I wonder if eufy will have a physical keys version for the fingerprint models. May need one for my own house.

Update: Doesn’t work
Update:After about a week of use, the lock started acting up. First, it would beep randomly (no set interval between beeps), and it would constantly go offline. Whenever it shows up online, it doesn’t lock/unlock from the app, instead it just loops until it freezes (the app). So right now, I can only use the lock with the key, which defeats the purpose of me buying the lock (since the house is currently being renovated and I want to allow people access without giving them my physical key)I tried their live chat, and they were useless. The escalated my issue to the back end team, but that was just another waste of time. Replies take 24 hours, which on it’s own is understandable, but they have a middleman that makes it more like 48 hours. I sent them an email with what they asked for, only to get a response 24 hours later saying “… I’ll have to send this to my back end team and get back to you…” and then have to wait another day for an actual response. They asked me for additional information and and it was back to the middleman, who took another day just to tell me that they were going to escalate again.I want to love this device, but certainly not worth it for me.This was the first time I installed a door lock. Very simple to install and the lock feels well made. It has a sleek, modern look which is why I opted for this instead of another brand I was looking at, and I don’t regret it one bit.

I just installed a few days ago but so far works great. I like that it keeps record of who comes and goes. I like that you can lock, unlock remotely. And I like that it will tell me when I need to recharge the batteries and that changing the batteries is super easy. Soooo easy to install.
