Handy when the power goes out, very good value
I’m not a camper, but when there’s a lengthy unplanned power outage in the evening candles are not a good option (I’ve tried). I bought these solely for backup lighting during power outages. The work just fine. No complaints.
What’s to like
– easy operation: lift up to turn on; push down to turn off
– surprisingly good lumen output … though you may need 2-3 in, say, a kitchen
– good battery life using standard batteries (comes equipped) … better than USB-rechargeable lights that aren’t much help in an extended power outage if they need to be recharged
What’s not to like
– “cold” blue-white LED light that will disappoint those who want soft, warm lighting
– as it’s a lantern with light projected 360-degrees (not a lamp with a shade) there’s going to be glare

Bright Lights!
These are small, yet powerful. Very, very bright when engaged fully, which is very easy to do. To use them, you simply pull up on the handles. You can dim them down some by not opening all the way. They would be great in a tent or on your porch. I bought them to have for any power outages at the house. They have not disappointed one bit. The included batteries are a great feature. They seem pretty solid, but haven’t dropped one as of yet.

Vital equipment for hurricanes
These lights are fantastic. I’ve owned them for several years. They are as described. Very handy to have around when the power goes out. I’m typing this as I sit here without power after Hurrican Helene hit. The AA battery size is a great one. D cells tend to go out of stock quickly when hurricane warnings come in. The AA batteries are small, cheap, store easily, and work great in these. The run time is excellent.

Bright
Value for money. Bright lights that can be dimmable. Great for power cuts, camping. Lightweight. No need to buy additional torch lights as it comes in a pack of 4.

Good product with some quality control issues
Lantern seem well-made and put out a good bit of light for their size. I really like the fact that they run on AA batteries, and that thereâs a storage location (either for spare batteries, or a place in which to store the set you plan to use to prevent the batteries from leaking all over the battery compartment). Unlike some reviews I read, these are made from ABS plastic rather than metal, which is fine for me. There are still very durable. You have to be careful when replacing the battery compartment door⦠It is very easy to cross thread the screw on lid. With a little care, the lid goes on fine and keeps the compartment watertight.
I had to order these twice. The first time only three of the four lanterns actually worked. I did double check the batteries and they were fine, so some issue with quality control in producing the fourth lantern. The packaging itself was damaged, so it didnât get damaged in the shipment. I initially tried to reach out to the manufacturers product support phone number, but the message that that number says you must deal with them via email⦠Thatâs a non-starter for me . I went through the return process with Amazon and they replaced with a new set of working lanterns.
Taking off one star for the quality control issues and the issues reaching customer support.

Remove batteries, take out plastic contact cover, replace batteries for them to light
Couldn’t figure out why they wouldn’t light up, removed the batteries and there’s a little square of plastic covering the contacts to preserve battery life before purchased. Once I figured this out, the light they produce is incredible! Perfect for all the power outages we’ve been having lately. Great value, great product!!!

Attractive, Bright, and Dependable.
I have five of them for our Florida hurricanes, the autos, and outdoor activities, To activate the included batteries, flip one battery over to get the proper poles. This ensures good power when needed.

I bought these for my elderly parents in law during a power cut when they lost light, heating and cooking. Candles were too much of a fire hazard. Hopefully when they have another power cut these will help light each room. They have a compartment in the top to store the batteries when not needed which is very helpful and they close down to a very manageable size to store. They are metal and not plastic and so feel sturdy when unscrewing the battery compartment etc. I liked them so much I have ordered some for myself and now my mother wants some too.

I can’t comment on durability as I bought these for a Storm Emergency Kit to sit in a cupboard until needed. I was very happy with the price & wouldn’t have been surprised if they were priced the same for individual lanterns. I was also pleasantly surprised to see they came with batteries included. There are little plastic strips pushed between battery & contact to ensure they don’t corrode during storage. After testing the first lantern, I re-inserted the plastic strips to ensure they could always store their own battery in the emergency kit.
For price, quality of construction, size & included batteries, I am happy to recommend this product.

Me gustó por lo práctica y porque se puede abrir una parte de la lámpara o toda completa, según la iluminación que uno necesite.

Seems to be a decent product, the lighting is good and is instantly activated, a good buy at the price and beats a candle any day, except for a romantic evening.
