I received the Engwe L20 2.0 in about 5 days from ordering it on Amazon. It arrived in excellent condition with no damage to the box. It took me about an hour to assemble it, it was very straight forward and basic to do. The build quality is excellent, I really like the green color. The components are all solid with the exception of the mechanical rear brake. I did have some initial issues with a squeak coming from the rear rotor. I was able to make some adjustments and after contacting Engwe support, I was able to identify the issue with the rotor and fixed the issue.This is a great entry level / beginner E-Bike. It has plenty of power, relatively light weight and is fun to ride.The price is also great.

Consumers need to be better…
I don’t often give bad reviews and will tolerate a lot of BS. But this was just to much.Now to preface all of this, it is worth mentioning that when you buy a $800 ebike, you are getting what you pay for. If anyone is a first time buyer of an ebike and is reading this I STRONGLY encourage you to avoid buying any Ebike from Amazon, let alone one worth less than $1000 and from cheap Chinese company.This is a new industry(ebikes) so a lot of people are unaware of what a good price is or what brands are good etc. I can assure you, 99% of the ebikes you see on Amazon are dangerous, cheaply built, and deserve no attention.What is worse is that these companies will pay a handful of people to make sponsored reviews that are really just a glorified unboxing video.If an ebike works outside of the box… That doesn’t mean it’s a good bike. What matters is how the bike works after 500 or 1000 miles.Truthfully, I feel like most people writing reviews for this bike haven’t ridden their bike for more than 300 miles. Because as someone who has put hundreds of miles on this bike let me tell you…. If I could give negative stars I would.So what is wrong with the bike? Let’s start from the beginning.Before I even got the bike there were issues with shipping, they didn’t send me the correct tracking number, and I couldn’t set up delivery instructions as a consequence. NOT A BIG DEAL. But this was only the start.When I got the bike all the instructions were in broken English, confusing, and very unhelpful. They didn’t send me the front fender AND despite the images on Amazon showing the bike coming with a front carriage, it didn’t come with that either. So I contacted them and it took them over a month to get me at least the front fender.The only thing holding your handle bars together is a cheap PLASTIC nub. Meaning it can easily break and snap, leaving you essentially without handle bars, and the part isn’t easily replaceable.The biggest issue by far on this bike is the hinge. I have seen multiple people report snapped or cracked frames near the hinge from Engwe bikes. So naturally I became very concerned by this and started to inspect. The only thing holding you and this bike together is a ~3mm metal nipple and a flimsy thin metal bracket. On top of that you can expect very loud creaking and cracking noises from the hinge after about 100 miles. Turns out that the hinge comes barely lubricated at all so I’ve had to unassemble the hinge and lubricate it in order to not ride around making metal cracking noises. Doing that was not easy and made very difficult by the way this bike is built, which brings me to my next point…This bike was not built to be easily maintained. It feels as though they made no effort to think about how the user will need to replace parts or basic maintenance. It’s a bike the was made to be essentially… Disposable.This is what consumers need to realize, Chinese manufacturers can make a shiny looking bike and pay people to do videos for them… When the truth is, the product you’re buying won’t last long and will cost you more in the end to maintain.So please don’t buy this.

Después de hacer 1000 km me parece una magnifica Ebike.Yo la utilizo para ir a trabajar principalmente.Compré una segunda batería porque necesito mucha potencia en el trayecto y me da unos 35 km en una sola.En modo eco todavía no le he encontrado el límite. Me canso yo antes de que se agote la primera batería.Tengo 57 años y no podría ir en una bici normal. Con esta no sudas, apenas te esfuerzas, aunque la puedes configurar como quieras para hacer más o menos esfuerzo.He ido por carreteras convencionales, alcanzando 50km/h o más, perfectamente señalizado, con luces, de noche.El GPS me ha enviado por rutas ciclistas, con auténticos barrancos, y la Ebike ha respondido perfectamente, con potencia en las subidas, buenos frenos, buenos amortiguadores, muy buenas ruedas.Para subirla en el ascensor como es plegable no hay ningún problema.En definitiva una muy buena inversión.

Son los bicicletas preciosas y todo el mundo me pregunta por ellas y les digo k engwe es mejor y más bonita k ninguna
