MY Shoppinâ Reviews –
Works great!
These are pretty easily installed by an electrician. The one thing you have to get use to is the switch doesn’t flip all the way up or down. It sort of toggles right in the middle and provides a click feedback. Not as reliable with metal faced switch plates ( the utility kind, so I put in a nightlight device next to it for signal transmission. Still works great.

Easy to install! Just a bit pricey!
I love these! I literally replaced every switch in my house with these. Amazon did mess up and sent me two of the flat switches, but I installed them anyway. My wife likes those flat ones the best, but I prefer these more. They are super easy to install. No issues getting them to connect to my hub. Easy to exclude and include and works with Smarthings. I just wish they didn’t cost so much, but I love them!

Works BUT….
1. As of the post the light switch works perfectly, BUT something that is not clearly spelled out is that the neutral wire (white wire) must be attached. even if the old switch doesn’t require one. Use the jumper that comes with in the box.2. NO WHERE is there a recommendation for a HUB. you’ll need that. Im using the Aeotek Smart Hub. So far its working great.3. The initial switch was boxed incorrect. A small inconvenience that was replaced.

Much better than earlier models
It was quickly discovered by Smart Things and subsequently, Alexa. I have had zero issues since I installed it. This model does not require you know line vs. load. You do need to know common and you need an independent neutral, which is standard for most wall switches. Easy install. The body is smaller than earlier models, so it is easier to fit in the box.

Z-wave and Ring compatible
I installed a few of these switches to allow my Ring alarm system to turn exterior lights on at dusk and off at dawn. Then when I was in a wheelchair, I installed two more in my bedroom to control the overhead light and fan. I can turn the lights off and on with Akexa, allowing me to get into bed with the lights on and then turn them off verbally. And if I get hot, I can turn the fan on (or off) without getting out of bed. I’m now adding another switch to control the light in the cats’ room because when I travel my cat helper sometimes turns the light off by mistake.

Smart Switch Is Too Smart
I have had these Enbrighten smart switches over the years and they seem to fail whenever there is an extended utility power outage. Yes, I had to buy yet another switch. Apparently, this is the ânew and improvedâ version of what Enbrighten used to manufacture. I am not pleased.Installing the switch (wiring part) was a breeze. Except, now Enbrighten added an LED to the switch intended to be a guide light? Whatever that meansâ¦there are instructions to disengage the LED, except the so called smart switch wouldnât accept my command(s). Took me at least 10 tries to turn off the LED permanentlyâ¦itâs just too bright in a bedroom. Then, there is a small toggle switch underneath the regular switch. Why? I donât know. It accidentally got bumped to the off position and killed all power to the switch and therefore my z-wave connection was lost.Bottom line, Enbrighten took a decent product and tried to improve it, only to make it took complicated and too smart for its intended purpose. They need to be reminded about the age old saying: âIf it ainât broke, donât fix it!â. Ugh!!!

Iâve been happy with these switches for years
For some reason and not every time. But losing power kills the switches. Hopefully at some point Jasco will fix this issue.
Totally original name –
These switches might join using Z-Wave plus encryption, but then quickly fail and default to no encryption. This is a problem because they wonât act as a signal repeater for any device that does use encryption. Also the switches do not support a âlong pressâ through Z-wave.But worse than that! These switches HAVE to be clicked, if you flipped the switch up and held it (expecting the lights to come up) they will completely IGNORE your request. Instantly causing your brain to go UP-DOWN-UP, but unless you ONLY click the switch ONCE in ONE direction, it will still IGNORE your input and not turn on the light. You have to click the switch either up or down, and only do one quick click!(Anyone who isnât used to these switches struggles with this)
