some of the features on this device do not work, for example the camera does not record, the wifi will no connect no matter what I try. so I can not use the app, the cry detection sometimes doesn’t pick up my child and I can hear him through the bedroom but not the monitor, there is a function for music but no music is included so you will have to add your own, so I haven’t been able to do so so this function is useless for me, i do like that the storage is local and it doesn’t have to connect to wifi, also the alert tones are quiet load and can not be adjusted so if i want the volume up on the monitor the alerts are way to disturbing especially at night, u cant lower the tone and up the monitor its all in the same level. so i disabled this, also if u turn off the screen u stop hearing the noise coming from the room. I like being able to hear without having the screen on to safe battery at night but its one way or another, the stand sucks, it barely stays up specially in a non flat hard surface. I do like the AI function but its not always accurate with the notifications, its delayed at times, the times it does record its only the day off, so i can’t go back into the day before and i can’t figure out how to adjust this. the setting to follow the baby is nice so it stays following my busy babe at night. the monitor and parent unit are bulky and the stand it comes with does fit in my floor stand so that was nice. its a nice monitor if it worked well it def needs a lot of work and fix issues to improve.

Great video quality
This baby monitor was easy to set up. I had to use the included pin to initially reset the camera but after that it was a breeze using the Ellie app. The video quality is very good and very clear, up to 2K (1440p) which is the highest resolution baby monitor I’ve tried. Night mode is clear as well. It comes with a camera holder so you can attach it to baby’s crib if you want. It also comes with two microSD cards, one for the camera and one for the monitor. I did not need the monitor because the app on my phone already worked well. It automatically records clips onto the microSD card which is convenient. The camera is also able to pan left, right, up and down (controllable from the app) which is very useful so you can see all around a room.

Good monitor for good price
I love the AI functions on it that alert when the baby starts moving and also has sound machine options built in. The sound quality of the music isnât great and the sensitivity options could have a wider range. It comes with a portable Bluetooth injected monitor and still has phone WiFi connection options. This was a must have for me in my new monitor.
