Great product, Smart Life Apps sucks
The plugs work great if you want to manually turn them on and off using the Smart Life app. However, the Smart Life app scheduler does not seem to work at all. I have placed many emails to the app author over the last two months of ownership of the product and none of them have been addressed.I would recommend this product if you want to manually turn on and off the plug using the app, but would not rely on it to use the scheduler portion of the app.Update: I never heard back from the Smart Life App author, but I did eventually find and reach out to Eightree support (support.us@eightree.club). They were very responsive and after working with support on troubleshooting, deemed one of the plugs defective and offered an immediate replacement.Now everything is working as scheduled automatically! Easy as it can get.

UPDATE: The company contacted me & replaced the 2 smart plugs that would not connect at 5ghz. The new smart plugs connected really easily at 5ghz. Their customer service was great to work with!I cannot get 2.4 ghz smart plugs to connect to my network since i’ve gotten a 5g phone. I cannot change my router through the software. So I purchased these more expensive 5 ghz 4 pack smart plugs, but could only get 2 of them to connect. The other 2 want to connect at 2.4 ghz. The 4 pack was a little cheaper than buying a 2 pack, but since 2 of them don’t work; I just wasted my money. I can only assume somehow they were wired incorrectly at the factory. Don’t waste your money!
