They are easy! They work!
I was skeptical… I have always used Z-Wave or Zigbee, but the price was right to expirement with. These were VERY easy to setup and connect them to Alexa. I installed the app and connected it to my Amazon account. I did one at a time… it was super easy for the app to pickup the new plug and assign my Wi-Fi and name it. Frome there, I added the groups and schedules in my Alexa app. These could not have been easier. Lights come on. Lights turn on. No fuss at all. Please note that these are only 2.4GHz but that should not be an issue for most people. I am a total geek, so I force my laptops to 5GHz and have no issues. I cannot stress enough how seamless this was. Someone thought it out, tested it thoroughly, and produced a great product that works on the first try.

Cannot fit two plugs in an outlet! Other than that, I Love them!
I bought these to control the lights in the bedroom, and they work beautifully! While they can pair with many services, I personally only use the SmartLife app. It allows me to not only turn them on and off from my phone, but also set schedules for wake-up lights, control them with Siri after an easy few clicks, and share them in a household so anyone in my home can use them too. Loved them so much I bought an additional 4 to set up in another room. The only downside is that they’re too large to use 2 in one outlet. For most things this isn’t an issue, but something to note for sure! I assumed they would when I purchased them, and have since worked around it. But I feel everyone should know before buying. Other than that small inconvenience, great product, is easy to use and saves a good amount of time and thought with scheduling my house to automate so many things!

Love these for controlling lights when away from the house
These work great and add home security since we can turn lights on and off when we are away from home. It’s also nice to turn on lights at night before you enter the house. Easy to install and synch with Alexa and phone app.

These work great and are incredibly easy to setup. However, based on their size you can not install two of them in one location. That’s my only issue with them.

Bought these for the vintage lamps in our bedroom. His and her lamps that are beautiful but awkward to turn on and off from bed. Not wanting to accidentally knock over a lamp we bought these.
Easy to connect to the app, and easy to add to shortcuts. There is even an âAdd to Siriâ button in the app.
Now we just say Siri, turn off Robinâs lamp and the lamp goes off. Have added shortcuts that will turn both lamps on or off at the same time using âBedroomâ in place of individual names.

When you plug in a light that has a “touch” on/off switch, it will not automatically turn on, you still have to touch it to turn it ON. However, when you give the voice command to turn it OFF, it will cut the power and goes off. Issue: The Smart Plug I use with the touch control light has stopped working. It may or may not be related to the touch control feature? I will see what happens with the new Smart Plug I have installed.
It uses the SMART LIFE APP, who’s name is not printed on the actual plug so I forgot which app I needed for a minute. You need to know the name so you can choose it from a drop-down list with Alexa when managing the groups or other routines you may want to do.
I noticed I can create “routines” (like turn it on/off everyday at a certain time) in both the Smart Life App and in Alexa which tripped me up at the beginning when they conflicted. It was only a little confusing for this 65 year old!
Also, I labelled EVERY PLUG (Smart Plug 1, 2, 3 etc.), so I can figure things out if/when I move things around and to manage the “Group” settings with Alexa. Soooo glad I did!
I absolutely love that I can use voice commands to turn off my lights as I am walking away! I have set up 3 groups of lighting and am looking for more places to use these these very convenient magical boxes!

I recently added a couple of Eightree Smart Plugs to my setup, and I’m impressed! As a user of six Gosund smart plugs (no longer available on Amazon) I was delighted to find that these plugs are fully compatible with the Gosund app. The installation was straightforward, and managing them alongside my existing devices was seamless. They perform reliably, and look virtually the same as the Gosund Smart plugs.
