I found that exfoliating wet skin is more abrasive and when I thought about it, I actually realized that I’ve been doing it for years and still have dry skin and get ingrown hairs. I got this dry brush and used it on my upper arms before getting in the shower. My upper arms are always dry and peely, even when I put lotion on after a shower. After ONE use of this brush, no more peely dry skin on my arms.The strap to place your hand in is useful for most, but I prefer to hold the brush in my palm. It does feel a bit weird and rough on the skin at first, but you get used to it. I think I am so used to using a wet exfoliating cloth that the feeling of dry bristles on my skin felt kind of rough, but if you use it gently, I think it’s really just a mental thing. I read online and from other reviewers to brush towards your heart wherever you are using it on your body. It’s supposed to help with lymphatic drainage too. I like that this is gentle enough to use everyday and still effective if you use just a couple times a week. Use it with an in-shower oil and you’ll be so soft and smooth! if you’re thinking too hard about it, just get the brush. It’s worth the time!

We love this brush. It would be too rough for a baby’s skin, but oh how wonderful it feels on your arms and legs. My boyfriend does road construction and a wash cloth just does not cut it sometimes. I have only had mine for a short while, but the bristles feel sturdy and they are not all flat like some others, so they really clean well. I use does bar soap and it holds the soap for a long time. You really feel it exfoliate your skin and is amazing for my circulation! 10 out of 10 for this one and I am super picky. Over the years I have bought a lot of bath brushes, this is by far my favorite so far!!!!!

i just received this, and used it for the first time yesterday, and i have to say the result are mind blowing. where has dry brushing been all my life?? this brush makes my skin oh so soft, and i literally see the dead sun coming off of myself and the brush while i do it. iâm amazing at the results after just ONE use. this is the perfect brush if youâre looking for exfoliation, and want a vegan product. it can feel rough sometimes while you use it, but im sure ill get used to it as time goes on. highly recommend!!
