Never have we ever, just taken apart the middle spinner shaft and its top parts on our washer. WOW! Imbedded dirt stuck everywhere, took quite a while to clean all, then reassemble. Then, added two of these tablets into the washer drum as directed. After the cycle, that drum was spotless! Seems like we now have a ânewâ, (quite older) washing machine!

I would put it through regular 3hr clean cycles, empty the water reservoir and do a hottest cycle setting with bleach. The smell would be gone for a couple washes and then I would notice the clothes once again had a musky smell.Pros: Eco Swirlz is the only product that has thoroughly cleaned my machine and kept it that way. No smell, no residue, even the gasket is cleaner!Cons: A tad pricey, BUT it is a year’s supply and actually does what it claims.
