A workhorse
I thought I would buy these for a nice backup/ travel controller, but I find myself coming back to these for my primary controller. I think the light weight and also the paddles make this ultra comfortable. Wired and 2.4 work perfectly. Bluetooth has normal bluetooth latency so it’s fine for single player/ offline games. The rgb make it a great controller at friends house to show off! When they hear the price someone always adds it to their cart as well. Will use easysmx in the future for sure

Problems
The controllers are nice looking, comfortable, and are very easy to connect to the PC regardless of which of the three connection options you use, but those are the only nice things I can say.I purchased one, and it worked for several hours, then my game would randomly register movements. I checked the calibration, and the controller just would not stay at origin at all, no matter what I did. So I ordered a replacement one, thinking the first was just a dud. This time, it worked for a couple of hours, then the controller stopped responding most of the time, and when it does respond there’s tons of lag or it registers a different button than what was pressed, regardless of whether I’m using a bluetooth connection, usb connection, or wired connection.I can’t use the controller if it’s randomly acting up; if my character or camera is randomly moving, buttons aren’t registering at all, or the controller is sending random orders (e.g. I press no buttons but it sends a signal that I’m pushing a button) to the PC. Sorry, but it’s a hard pass for me when I had two different controllers both have problems within a few hours.

This is the second game controller I’ve ordered from EasySMX, and it may be my favourite. The X15 offers many of the features gamers are looking for, provided you aren’t looking for Xbox console compatibility—though it operates exactly as one on PC only. The X15 is also compatible with Switch, iOS, and Android devices.I like the design choices for the X15, from its artic camo print to the RGB lighting effects around the joystick bases, D-Pad, and the outer edges of the controller. The RGB lighting can be turned off via a dedicated switch underneath the controller. There are several pre-programmed colour modes and the LEDs are very bright, and vibrant, and the brightness levels can be adjusted as well.The Hall Effect Joysticks and Triggers have a good feel in hand and should provide a drift-free experience. Another nice feature is the two programmable buttons on the rear of the controller. These features alone place it ahead of many game controllers and at a price premium to the X15. The plastics in the build of the controller feel durable and it has some weight to it. If there was one upgrade request, it would be the addition of actual rubber grips versus the laser-etched fine carving featured here. The ABXY buttons are etched as well and I will say they felt more tactile and appreciated this feature over the usual smooth buttons. The D-Pad is excellent on the X15 and almost silent in use, which was unexpected. The dedicated option and menu buttons are located just like on an OEM Xbox controller so thankfully no user adjustments are required.With tri-mode connectivity, you can connect the X15 via the 2.4Ghz dongle, Bluetooth or the included USB-C to USB-A cable. If you choose wireless, the X15 is equipped with a 1000mAh battery and I never found myself in a position where my gaming sessions were interrupted, so I appreciate the well spec’d battery size.While no software is required to use the X15, EasySMX does offer firmware updates via their Discord. The controller I received already had the latest firmware and apparently, it addresses a wired disconnection issue for some PC users. I had no such issue during my testing, given I had the latest firmware.If you are looking for a great PC controller with those sought-after gaming upgrades, like the Hall Effect drift-free joysticks and programable buttons – I’d highly recommend the X15 based on my PC gaming experience with it. The build quality and overall feature set are excellent and at a commendable price savings versus many OEM game controller options.

PACKAGING 📦:Il controller si presenta in una semplice confezione di cartone sottile, con la parte anteriore in plastica trasparente da cui si può vedere direttamente il controller frontalmente.Oltre al controller, la confezione contiene un cavo da USB-A ad USB-C per la connessione cablata e la ricarica, una chiavetta/ricevitore USB da collegare al PC per la connessione wireless, ed il manuale di utilizzo multilingue (Italiano compreso).IL CONTROLLER🎮:In questa versione il controller è in colorazione verde “mimetico” con anche i paddle analogici in tinta verde. Esteticamente richiama i controller Xbox e proprio questa sua forma ergonomica permette un’impugnatura molto comoda (magari per chi ha le mani più grandi la sua compattezza può essere un limite, ma è solo un’impressione…).CONNETTIVITÀ🔌:Rispetto ai suoi “colleghi” di fascia superiore, purtroppo non ha il selettore manuale per le varie modalità di connessione (PC/Switch/iOS/Android) che viene invece selezionata con apposite combinazioni di pulsanti (tutto comunque ben spiegato nel manuale) ma alla successiva riaccensione, si riconnette in maniera fulminea allo stesso dispositivo👍! Per modificare dispositivo e/o tipo di connessione occorre invece resettare con il tasto posto sul retro ed effettuare il nuovo tipo di connessione che si intende utilizzare.GAMEPLAY🕹:Considerando la fascia di prezzo è un buon controller, con materiali di qualità percepita elevata.- I pulsanti di gioco (A,B,X,Y), ad esempio, non sono microswitch meccanici bensì i classici “gommini”, ma non sono rumorosi e danno comunque un buon feedback.- La croce direzionale (D-Pad) inoltre, permette un controllo di gioco molto preciso👌, in molti giochi (specie i più datati) anche decisamente meglio dei paddle analogici.- Buona anche la sensibilità dei grilletti LB ed RB (comodi soprattutto per i racing🏎) anche se non ho avuto particolare modo di testare il controller su giochi particolarmente recenti, come si vedrà nel video.- Comoda infine, la possibilità di programmare con delle macro i due tasti M1 ed M2 posti sul retro, in maniera semplice e rapida e senza necessità di un’app esterna. Anche di questa feature tuttavia, non ho riscontrato la necessità al momento.MODALITÀ TURBO🚀: (simula la pressione ripetuta di un pulsante)È applicabile ai tasti principali, non ai paddle analogici per ovvi motivi, ed è regolabile in 3 livelli di intensità e 2 tipologie: la modalità TURBO “classica” o “semiautomatica” (semplicemente tenendo premuto il pulsante desiderato) funziona bene. Senza infamia e senza lode.BOCCIATA invece la modalità TURBO completamente automatica (che si attiva premendo il tasto desiderato e si disattiva ripremendolo una seconda volta), in quanto interferisce con la ricezione di altri eventuali comandi contemporaneamente👎, ma è forse questo l’unico limite, dovuto alla fascia di prezzo, che ho riscontrato (l’altro limite è forse l’assenza del selettore per la modalità di connessione, ma come ho scritto è ben compensato dalla velocità istantanea del pairing🔝).- Probabilmente anche altri limiti di fruibilità possono venir fuori in giochi più recenti, che sono più “esigenti” nel senso che occorre l’intera pulsantiera, rispetto ai classici che ho provato io nel video.PICCOLA CHICCA 🚀 (seppur puramente estetica) che, ammetto non aver scoperto da subito, la retroilluminazione LED RGB, personalizzabile in varie modalità e colori🔴🟠🟡🟢🔵🟣⚪. Si può attivare con un pratico interruttore sul retro (vedere il video) dunque è ovviamente facoltativa, ma piacerà senz’altro ai gamer più appassionati e innalza la qualità percepita del controller e un’esperienza di gioco più immersiva.
