This e.l.f eyeliner is great!
e.l.f No Budge Retractable Eyeliner IS Creamy AND Ultra-Pigmented. The applicator is user friendly and easy to apply along the upper and lower eyelash line. It also works great as an eye shadow. The color gradually lightens after several hours of wear and removes easily with a wet washcloth when cleansing your face. I love the coffee color! It’s a warm brown that’s very complimentary for brown eyes.

Surprised by quality
I work long shifts and long hours for a company that has areas with extremely hot environments. I do not leave my house without makeup on at all and my work conditions usually end up sweating off most of my product. Try to mainly do my eye makeup that is the only thing that seems to last. I do not use expensive products while Iâm at work and decided to try this liner to see how it held up. I will say it definitely exceeded my expectations. It stays on even with extreme heat. It does smudge a little at the corner of my eyes, but is very easy to clean off during breaks. Not even enough to be very noticeable. Goes on very easy and blends out easily as well. Bought both brown and black and will say that I will definitely purchase again and already have.

Will stay on eybrows!
I applied the eyeliner to fill in my eyebrows. The perfect color will last at least to the next day and even a 2nd day being careful not to wash the color off when I wash my face. The 3rd day I did have to fill in a small amount but I’ve tried microblading and it never stays on for a year maybe months. So not to have to fill in my eyebrows every day, I’m liking this on my eyebrows. I know it’s eyelined but what the hey, works for me and my brows! The older I get the more help my brows need. Thanks e.l.f! (I’m going to buy a color for my mom for her eyebrows.. she’s going to love it!)

A Surprising Failure to Perform
I like e.l.f. products. Right now, they’re circulating an adorable advertising video which I highly recommend watching. It’s a hoot. And until now, all their products I’ve purchased did well for me.BUT…this one…failed me. In fact…I threw it out! Take it from me, I do not lightly throw things out. Especially during Frugal February, but I’d given up on this eyeliner.The problem? It was so hard, I couldn’t draw lines. It was definitely not creamy. It was so smudge-proof, even pressing quite hard against my eye, I couldn’t get a consistent line. I had to fill it in with the old eyeliner. That looked erratic. So, I broke down and bought their liquid eyeliner at the local discount store.I give this pencil eyeliner a 3 rating for that reason. e.l.f. is generally a great value. I had to wonder if it was that way because it was old? dried out? You might have better luck than I did.
