Just the right size
I have used many hydration packs over the years and my previous pack wasn’t doing it for me anymore, enter this pack from CVLife.I had a list of griefs with my previous hydration packs and this one addresses nearly all of them. Those issues included the empty weight, shoulder strap comfort, loose tail straps, and airflow. The pack is made with durable fabric and the stitching is well done. I like that just enough fabric was used to get the job done, no excess. This keeps the empty weight low.The shoulder straps are light weight, with minimal padding, but enough to handle the typical weight in a hydration pack (3L water, snacks, and first aid kit). There is a emergency whistle in the chest strap (like most packs these days), and a hose clip that can be moved to either shoulder strap. The hip belt is nice and wide, the first hydration pack I’ve owned with this upgrade. The straps are captive! Meaning they do not flap around in the wind after you tighten them down. The tail is attached back to the strap so that you don’t have streamers flying everywhere, smacking your face and arms in strong wind. What a nice feature! No more rolling up the excess to tie onto the strap (they always comes loose halfway thru the hike anyway).* Now this does limit the adjustability some, however the savings on weight and wear on your nerves is a welcome tradeoff. The pockets are decent size, which I took a few photos with 500mL water bottles in them for size comparison. The zippers are decent quality and open/close easily. There is a shock cord strap on the back of the pack for stowing a jacket, a key clip inside the second/middle pocket, and a dedicated hydration sleeve to protect the bladder from stuff in that third/large pocket. The bladder is probably my only gripe. The plastic used feels a little cheap but it does have a quick release hose which makes it easy to clean and fill. Also, securing the bladder is handled by hook-n-loop straps, another +1 over all my previous packs. The side mesh pouches are the typical size for backpacks these days, far too small for anything other than a 500mL water bottle. They’re perfect for snacks and bug spray though. The pack is comfortable with minimal weight (tested around the house) and the straps don’t pull on the neck. The hip straps do a great job supporting the weight and taking strain off of the shoulders. Looking forward to testing straps and airflow with a full loadout this weekend!

Very good hydration pack, especially for the money
I was very pleased with this hydration pack. It has solid materials, but isnât too heavy. I love the full capacity of the bladder, giving you a full 3 L of water. This is a military style bag, with large capacity to carry a lot of other gear. I used it on a long hike, and it worked very well. It seemed very sturdy and held up well in a fairly rugged situation. Cleanup was quite easy, although itâs always such a pain to dry out the bladders after youâre done with them. I especially like the price, as it is very economical, especially for what you get. I highly recommend.

Not perfect, not bad
Disclaimer: I didn’t purchase this for a listed intended purpose.I got this essentially as a ruck, paired witg a 45lb plate. The plate fits perfect even with the water bladder, and the straps don’t seem to struggle with the weight. However, the backpack doesn’t stay high in my back where I put it. I tightened the straps as much as possible and strapped in with the belly strap (she chest strap is sized for a child and can’t be sized bigger it seems, so I go without that). As I’m walking/jogging with the weight, the straps loosen very slightly and then it slides down lower on my back where it’s not ideal. But since it doesn’t say this is meant for adding weight, I can’t dog it too much

Convenient Option for Hydration That Will Save on Bottled Water.
As someone who has never used a hydration pack but has to work for long periods outside in the sweltering heat, this CVLIFE tactical backpack has been an enormous boon. It has not only allowed easy access to ready hydration but has saved me quite a bit of money on bottled water, not to mention the added environmental benefit. The hydration bladder was easy to fill, leak-proof and I found the combined weight of 3 liters of water and the pack itself surprising light to carry for extended periods. I like that it has a generous number of pockets that will allow carrying of minimally necessary gear without overburdening the overall load with too much added weight. While the backpack has three points of securing it with waist, chest and shoulder straps, I did find the initial adjustment slightly challenging to get it just right, especially while wearing it. But once I did, the arrangement held the pack very securely on my torso and it was quite comfortable.I also like the Velcro area on the back that allows one to easily remove the included flag patch and replace and personalize it with another design or name patch.Though I’ve only used the product for a few hours at a time while outside and with the exception of the filled bladder, relatively empty, I will hopefully be able to try this out on either an extended trip, long walk or hike in the near future; though I am very pleased with it so far and would definitely recommend it.

Works perfectly for me
First off, I use this for rucking. I needed a smaller bag that handled a bladder and around 40 pounds of weight. I ruck with this bag 3-4 times a week and it excels at meeting my needs. It looks great. The adjustable staps are esay to manipulate to adjust the weight around my body. When in place, it stays slable on my back without shifting. This is super important to me because a 40 pound weight shift can cause falls and serious injury.Great bag!

Has held up well
Has held up to a couple of hundred miles of day hiking, in the Texas summer heat. So it got abused in multiple ways. Still working just fine. Definitely recommend this one.
