Thoughtful Design, Great Features, Keeping Our Baby Safe
As first-time parents, my partner and I have been searching for a reliable camera to help us monitor our baby. While browsing, we were particularly drawn to features like the sleeping pad, danger zone alerts, and crying detection. After considering these, we decided to give the Cubo AI camera a try. After using it for two weeks, hereâs what we thought:The whole set was super easy to assemble, which we really appreciated. The camera has amazing resolutionâjust take a look at the picture we uploaded from our living room. The quality is super clear, making it easy to see everything.The app is also really easy to use. We tested it and had no trouble hearing any sound from the babyâs room. One feature we love is that we can use another app while keeping the Cubo AI app running in the corner of our phone screen. Thatâs such a useful feature!The night light is just the right brightnessânot too brightâand we think itâs smart how they placed it on the back of the bird instead of under the camera. If it were under the camera, it might disturb the babyâs sleep, so we feel this design is really well thought out.We also really like the sleep pad. Itâs a sweet feature that helps us track any motion our baby makes during the night. It gives us peace of mind, knowing weâll get alerts if thereâs anything wrong. Itâs especially reassuring when thinking about things like Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)âthis gives us more time to react if needed.That said, there are a couple of things we wish were different. You have to manually move the camera up or down, which isnât very convenient. It would be great if we could adjust it using the app or if the camera could automatically follow the babyâs movements. Additionally, the crib mount doesnât fit thicker crib rails very well, so that could be improved too.Overall, the Cubo AI camera has exceeded our expectations in many ways, offering thoughtful design, impressive resolution, and parent-friendly features like the sleep pad and app functionality. Despite a couple of minor drawbacks, such as manual camera adjustments and the crib mount’s compatibility, we feel the peace of mind it provides outweighs these inconveniences. Smart baby monitor
When I had my older son almost seven years ago, we had a traditional baby monitor that will let me know what if my son cried, detect by sound. So I really was not sure what to expect for a newer version of baby camera. With all the research, we got this one because of its roll over or face covering notification.When it came, the product was beautifully packed. The package is a a little big, because of all the accessories for set up. It had three ways of physically setting up the camera with floor stand, mounting to crib, or just let the camera sit on any flat surface. We set it up through floor stand because it will be easy for move it around if we need to. The actual camera is soooooo cute, a Little bird. When setting the camera up electronically, it also made little bird chipping sound, such a good looking cute camera. I bet when my lo gets older, he will for sure talk about the little birdie in his room.Set up of the camera was very easy following the steps from their app. It connects to our WiFi smoothly, works with our 5GHz WiFi. The app sends me accurate notifications if my lo is crying. The night vision is so clear that I can see his eyes open or not. It also sends me notifications if the room temperature is out of the comfort range. I can also play lullabies from the app through the camera. It can also detect if my baby is rolled over or his face being covered. I think this is going to be very helpful when he reaches that stage. It has so much more functions I yet to explore. I highly recommend this and I think it makes such a great baby shower gift as well for itâs great functions and cute look.

Not reliable at all
When this thing works, it does what it’s meant to do: keep an eye on the baby. But when it doesn’t work, it is almost useless. We are currently using it as a glorified thermometer.Customer service is super responsive, but don’t confuse responsive with “good” customer service. They do their best to drag things out. Case in point, I was on the verge of the 1 year warranty mark, when I contacted them with an issue to my unit. The unit would just not power up.I contacted customer service, and they do all these needless checks, (did you update the app, did you change original plug, did you restart wif, on and on and on). This led to countless back and forth emails, and by the time we ran thru all their checks, Cubo tried to get out of their warranty by saying that my warranty has run out.After much haggling, and trying to appeal to their human side, they promised a one time courtesy replacement. I was so relieved, only the joke was on me. The courtesy replacement unit was a faulty one (whether they do that on purpose is anybody’s guess). It broke in 3 months. This time I get a connection is unstable error. I ended up giving up and just ordered a simple camera.If you are on the fence whether or not to buy this, look at other reviews that have complaints on them, trust those reviews. The failure rate of these units is incredibly high. It starts off as a great product, but then most likely fails, and just ends up being a waste. At best, you’ll end up with a $200+ thermometer.

This is a fantastic product. The camera can be positioned differently and you get to set up the crib area on the app. You also get to choose which notifications you want to get or not.I can put little melodies or white noise for my baby to help her fall asleep.On top of everything, Cubo has an excellent customer service. I was not able to synchronize the pad and they helped me troubleshoot. When I didnât answer, they would follow up to make sure the issue was resolved which I really appreciated.

It’s not possible to use all mounts without converting your setup everytime. This limits the possibilities when changing the monitor’s location frequently. Other USB C cables are also not usable with this device. So i’ve returned my CuboAi and purchased an alternative

Ayant vue certains mauvais avis par rapport à la déconnection de la camera jâai tout de même pris le produit et pour être honnête la caméra est excellente et le matériel est super quali ! Aucune déconnection Sûrement due à une très bonne connection, les notif sont juste ouf mon enfant est très bien détecter, le suivis des stats de sommeil et souvenir sont top. On peut re visionner toute la journée sur 24h. Seul bémols lâabonnement offert 1 an mais après il faut le payer si on veux continuer à avoir des souvenir et historique de sommeil. (Pas non plus obligatoire)De loin la meilleur camera pour bébé et surtout très belle qualité, sans parler des sons pour apaiser mon enfant.
