Great for organizing all the small fasteners and hardware. I like that there are adjustable compartments and that it can stack and lock with other craftsman storage devices like my drill bit set case.

Nice strong plastic. Craftsman name implies a lot and I have never been disappointed with the quality. One small issue, though. The carrying handle is thicker plastic and doesn’t bend well. The case needs weight to tug on the handle. Without the weight, the handle is useless to me. I’m using this to carry detail paint brushes, modelling glue, tweezers, x-acto knives, and small bottles of modelling paint.

Needed a portable parts case for my Dewalt stackable set (You would think Stanley would make matching sets) but Dewalt doesn’t offer a similar parts case.This provides nice customized storage. Removable dividers are nice and compartments are sturdy no matter how many are removed.It stacks and locks into the Dewalt T-stack cases which is nice. Got it because it’s new for versastack, and it does its job
Craftsman versastack doesn’t release new pieces to the system. They just don’t. So once I saw this and the half size organization box pop up I had to grab it.Once I got it in hand I was excited because the size of it, while it firs the width and length of all the other versastack boxes and connected just fine, I really was glad to see an organizer that was slimmer or shorter than there other organization box w the cups inside.This thing is the perfect size for nuts bolts screws, small tiny bits and pieces that you use and keep a quantity of. And the dividers in it are ok.They’re cool in that you can square up half the box, and leave the other half wide open, or however you choose to set them up. But they don’t necessarily nest/connect/fit completely flush and securely in the box, and They’re kinda flimsy too.So if the box gets bounced around a bit those dividers could move or jump around allowing ur items to spill somewhat.And if you do keep screws and bolts in these lil sections, if you keep them in there loosely, you can’t pick them up out of there without almost always bumping a divider and lifting one up accidentally mixing ur stuff a little bit.The case itself isn’t the sturdiest case ever, and the connection clips on it to add it to your versastack/toughcase boxes are a weird shape with almost no positive connection.. meaning if you stack a case on top of this, the latches that hold the case that’s on top if it, are very loose and don’t snap in place as they should.Also the lid is smooth and lacks some of the indentation that the versastack case lids need so the next case can stack and nest properly. Due to thos smooth lid, I’ve noticed whatever is stacked on top ,even when clipped on, will slide side to side just a little bit..but if the top case slides far enough, the latch on the opposite side can come loose n undoneOverall I like the box, it’s a nice addition, but it def isn’t without its downfalls

Bit smaller and cheaply made compared to the compatible Stanley and DeWalt equivalents – only half sized too – I mean sure its useful for extra fasteners or whatever, and you can move the dividers about, but I expected a little more – oh and you cant stack other items on topOne way they could improve the EXISTING design is a few more plastic projections coming out the bottom, so it mates better WITH the TSTAK/VersaStak/Prostack designs its ‘compatible withso it’s ok but … Mehh could do a LOT better 😉
