    Great for DDP Yoga!
I had been using the Wahoo tickr for DDPY for the last few years. I went through a few of them all of which I bought through Amazon. I had nothing but problems with them. Not connecting, losing connection in the middle of a workout, and dipping and spiking during workouts. I saw DDP selling this brand on his website, found it Amazon and ordered one, mostly because I could get replacement coverage after the warranty expires. I’ve been using it a few weeks and it has worked flawlessly, it was easy to setup through the app, you can set your zones in the app and easily tell by the color the monitor is blinking what zone you are in. The DDPY app found it and the zones are pretty close on both apps. I’ve had zero issues with it losing connection or being inaccurate. I workout between 90-120 minutes a day and after 7 days the battery is around 25 percent by day 7. It charges in less than 2 hours, which is better than dealing with a battery every few months. It’s also much more comfortable than a chest strap and since it’s on your arm it’s easy to tell what zone your in. It also works if you have tattoos, something other arm and wrist HRMs can have issues with. Overall I’m really happy with this HRM it’s taken some of the frustration out of working out! BANG!

    Good value
The Coospo HRM paired easily with my phone and appears to be responsive and accurate. I like the different colors displaying heart-rate zone. The free Heartool software is pretty bare-bones though and not very user intuitive.I was unable to figure out how to set the max heart rate but Coospo customer support via email was very responsive and sent a video showing how to do this. Unfortunately, they confirmed that the zones are hard-coded and cannot be modified by the user.As I’m most interested in monitoring the aerobic zone, I was able to adjust the maximum heart rate until the zones were close to where I felt they should be. I would have rated the Coospo HRM at 5 stars if the zones were programmable. Still, for the cost, it is a great product. Battery life seems like it will be good.

    Fits the need
I work out at a fitness center and I regularly use their treadmills. They can connect to a heart rate monitor and adjust their incline based on heart rate. I got tired of holding onto the hand grips, so I got this to keep my heart rate steady at around 150 – 155 using auto incline adjustment. It does it job.Pros:+ Color codes are a quick visual reference when you’re not using the treadmill and you need to avoid dying while running.+ Connects to life fitness treadmills just fine+ Water resistant. I sweat all over this thing and it stays in place.Cons:- Color codes only give you a reference to a heart rate range. Close enough tho.- Has a hard time connecting to my phone app. Not a huge deal for me, but it might be for someone else.- I would rather this be a USB c charger instead of a magnetic, two prong charger. I understand why it’s not tho.Other thoughts:I’m a military member and use their life fitness treadmills. This Works like a champ.

Stopped Working after a few months
It was working great while it worked. The battery seemed to last long. It would be weeks of use before I would recharge it. Then one day (about 6 months after i bought it), it just wouldn’t turn on. I thought maybe the battery was dead so I completely recharged it. Still wouldn’t turn on. I pressed the button about a dozen times, it would turn on but wouldn’t connect. I turned it back off, then it wouldn’t turn back on. I now need to buy another one. It will not be this brand

    Company Stands Behind Their Product
I purchased the Coospo heart rate monitor in June and immediately synced it with my Wahoo Bolt. I had lots of previous experience with the agar in chest strap and the Wahoo arm band so I can compare my experience with those products. The Coospo immediately connected via Bluetooth with no need to attempt it multiple times. Battery time was advertised at 18 hours but I can attest to 10 hours on some longer rides. From June to late August this heart rate monitor was so dependable I just tended to forget about past challenges with other finicky monitors when the decide suddenly stopped working. I would press the connect button and would just see the red LED flash at me. My guess was either it stopped charging or just wasn’t connecting anymore.I contacted Coospo literally yesterday and after a few emails back and forth the company seemed as baffled as I about why it stopped working. Without any argument, Coospo asked if I would like a refund or a replacement device. I had such good luck with the device initially that I chose a replacement. The folks at Coospo asked me to video the setup and some of the initial uses this time around so they could monitor it. That also gave me some peace of mind.Sure – I could have rated them lower because the device quit working but the true test of a good product and company is that when something breaks they fix it – outside the 30 warranty period. I am pretty confident the first failure is just a fluke and am willing to match the positive support from Coospo with faith from my end.

I paired this baby up with my Garmin Fenix 6 Pro and did various runs outdoor this past week and below is my experience. The set up is basically the same as any other Bluetooth or Ant + device. It took me less than 3 minutes from start to complete. And yes, I fully charged the device beforehand. The first run the moment I hit run on my watch and turned on the armband HRM, it was detected and connected immediately. I wore it on my forearm just beneath my elbow. It felt very comfortable on my arm and there was not issue of chaffing. It also stayed snugged and secured the entire run.I did running workouts from easy aerobic run, tempo run, interval workouts and finally a 20KM long trail easy run under wet snow condition. The HRM responded extremely well with the expected heart rate. For example on my interval hard workout, the HRM picked up my hard interval at 156-170 and immediately drops to 130-140 for my recovery time. For my easy recovery run, the HRM remains at 120-135, while I maintained running at a cadence of above 180 at a temperature of 5-7C. If I relied on my wrist HRM, in the same condition, the heart rate detected would very immediately latch onto my cadence showing a very high heart rate. I’m very happy to say that by using this armband HRM this annoying issue is finally resolved. My VO2 max has started improving to reflect my true fitness. So the last test run of the week was done under wet snow conditions. I believe I started the connection between watch and HRM a bit later than usual and the HRM failed to detect my heart rate and latched onto the cadence again. This happened in the first KM. I stopped my run and reestablish the connection between the two devices. I didn’t hit start until I see my heart rate is reading accurately at about 120-125. The rest of the run of 20KM showed very good expected range of HR.Based on one week of usage, I’m very happy with my purchase. I haven’t fully tested out the battery life but I can safely say the above runs of over 10+ hours were done under one charge. The durability is also an unknown fact at this point.

Coospo has no app for runners. The official app is coospo rider which is only for cyclists. You need to use a different app named hearttool as per guidelines given in the product details. This app is very average. Sometimes it records data, other times it completely missed the data. Not very useful.

I originally purchased this monitor to use with one of COOSPO’s bike computers. I have now also used it successfully with a Garmin bike computer as well. This monitor has been very reliable and I am quite happy with it, especially for the price. I have had no issues with it so far and the battery lasts a long time. It pairs easily with other fitness devices and is easy to use. Th heart rate data seems just as accurate as other monitors I have tried. The only negative aspects of this monitor is that the charging cable seems to be proprietary vs. USB-C or micro-USB, so if you lose it you might have a problem. Otherwise this is a great monitor.
