Works well, does not leak
Item is as described. It is important that you use the Teflon tape that is included to help prevent leaking. Do not over tighten, this is not needed. I have a 100 pound dog and it is prefect for him. I laughed when I read some reviews and it was reported to be too small. The size is stated in the discription so I measured what my dog was currently using. This bowl is just a bit smaller and it is awesome as it refills. Great for a dog that insist on drinking water outside. Great product.

Did not last a year before a fell to pieces
very hard to clean. it is impossible to get on the inside of it to clean the build of of Algy. the brush provided is to big to get inside to clean in hard to reach “CORNERS”.the pieces that help control the flow of water fell apert during one cleaning and I haven’t been able to make them snap back together.

This a replacing a galvanized self waterer that had stopped working and rusted terribly.This is a much smaller bowl which visually worried me. But my three 100+ Dobermans and one Great Dane are having no problems with it. I like the fact that itâs got less water to turn green and get stale. The refill is quick, so the bowl never empties. Itâs also a heavy plastic so no rest worriesIt comes with quality, and well thought out parts. Everything you needed to install, even teflon tape to prevent leaks, and a brush to give it a good scrub out.Just in time for a very hot weekend ahead!

This water feeder serves its purpose effectively, which is impressive. However, the product image can be deceiving. It appears much larger in the picture than it is in reality. Upon receiving it, it resembled more of a water bowl suitable for birds or perhaps small animals like cats or little Chihuahuas, rather than for a large dog as depicted. I own a 100-pound dog, and sheâs hesitant to drink from it due to its small size, only filling up halfway. Additionally, it required extra effort to stop leaks; using plumberâs tape and securing connections was necessary. Considering its size and the price point, I find it a bit overpriced. Overall, I would rate it a three due to the deception in size. If the seller offered a larger version of this product, it would significantly improve its usability and warrant a higher rating. I got this to replace a different indoor water bowl that was leaking, and so far this one has been working great. You can get an adapter at almost any hardware store to connect it to a normal fridge/sink water line and the bowl works perfectly.Just be sure to invest in an auto-close leak valve or an alarm just in case of an unlikely leak.

Perfect for my 2 large dogs
I was reading reviews and saw some people comment they thought the bowl was too small for their dogs. But I really didn’t want a big bulky one, and the water needing to refresh more often was a good thing. I have 2 large dogs and this is perfect for them. It fills really fast, but the bowl is big enough that my 2 can get their fill from it before it has to refill. I’ve had no leaks with using the enclosed tape. It is easy to dump and clean when they get dirt or grass clippings in it.We spend a LOT of time outside. Keeping fresh water available is important. The previous bowl I had would get green algae growing really fast.
