Good introductory feeder
Sandpoy Cordless Automatic cat wet food feeder with 4 meals battery operated let feeder for cat/small dog. This came well packaged and was relatively easy to set up. It takes 4 AA batteries(not included), in case you were wondering.As far as quality, itâs thicker and better built than I was expecting. Itâs definitely built more for cats than dogs. I admittedly got this for my puppy as an introductory automatic feeder as heâs only used to being hand-fed by people. He is a 5 month Aussie/German Shepherd mix. So, no, not a small dog. And yes, I know thatâs on me for getting this for him.Introducing him to the feeder went better than I expected. He was curious, but didnât try to scarf the food down. However, he is very smart and figured out right away that if he bit at the corners or tried to push the edge, it would give under his nose/pressure and he could maneuver it to get at the next portion. That said, I can only use this for him under direct supervision. No, I would not recommend this for large or medium dogs frankly. As he grows, it will probably end up being reused for our cat. But it was a good introductory feeder.I would recommend this to you if you have 1 cat or a pet that doesnât eat a lot. Itâs a good no mess feeder with little set up and doesnât require Wi-Fi or an app. I do wish there was a backup power source option. In other words, if the batteries die, it wonât work at all, so I wouldnât leave your pet alone with this for a long periods of time. It needs refilling daily.

Great value, the best price in its class
I ordered another auto feeder at a much higher price, then I found this one. I was initially skeptical given its low price (28% of competitor pricing). I was expecting a very tiny feeder, but this one is sufficient size. I think it will be suitable for one small cat/dog. It comes with 4 ice pack (only need 2 to keep the food fresh). This one has all the features of the expensive one but at a fraction of cost.

It works, but has some drawbacks
I donât think itâs particularly bad, but I am sure that I would prefer some differences. Such as, I would like it to stay shut until the cat approaches it or only stay open during a limited time. The smell of cat food has been a bit of an issue for the family.

This cool little feeder has cold packs to make sure the wet food is fresh. It has a 12or 24 hour timer and can be set to open up to 4 times a day. The setting of the timer is easy and it beeps to let your pet know its about to open. Awesome for those times when your running late.

It comes with ice packs to keep food fresh but don’t expect it to keep it cool for more than a day. So, I would only recommend this feeder for dry food.

Love this cat feeder.
I’m glad we got this battery powered cat feeder. We can set it to feed the cat 4 times a day. It can be used for wet or dry foods. The portion areas are a good size, so you can put a good amount of food in each section. It is easy to clean too. I like that it uses batteries instead of plugging in. Even with a power failure, our cat will be fed.

Great idea but….
Pretty cool like gadget, I can see the appeal and usefulness of it. Takes a little bit to figure out how to set each feeding time, but once you have it set hopefully, you never have to do it again. The dish is easy to clean. Build quality is a bit too plastic for my liking.Unfortunately, the beeping and automatic door freaked out my pet and now he will not go near it. It also would have been nice if it was able to keep warm food warm while waiting for the next timer to go off.
