5 Stars once I figured out the programming.
I would agree with others that the instruction guide could be more precise but I just really needed to stop holding the Set button so long for each step. Just hold the Lock button for about three seconds until you hear the beep, then a single press to progress to each step of the programming; and manual feed! I really like the squatty shape, the partially obscure canister, and the two secure lid locks. The removable stainless steel bowl was a requirement for me – it was a bonus that my cat’s other bowls also work in the holder. The readout panel could be bigger but it helps that the panel light is plenty bright. The 24 hour clock wouldn’t be first choice for US buyers but, once programmed, we can adapt. The portions in grams is also inconvenient but the kibble I use has both cup and gram measurements on the bag. This works!! Bring on the vacation!!

Pros: – Cat has grown to love the sound of her food being dispensed and gets excited – Doesn’t feel cheap and the metal dish is great for cleaning – Easy to fill with food – The wall usb plug has 2 ports and powers both the water pump and the food dispenser – Water comes with a filter – Good container locks so animals cant get into itCons: – The water pump will burn up if the water level gets too low – The water “fountain feature” takes up a lot of room and the cat struggled to drink out of it until I removed it. Now water just bubbles up from the bottom – The water bowl is rather shallow and I think dogs tongues would hit the bottom while drinking – The audio you record that it plays when it dispenses is so quiet and such terrible quality is laughable – There’s a lot of parts when you first open the box and a bit overwhelming to set up initially Verdict: Would I purchase this again for $50? Probably. It’s made my life and my cats life much nicer. I knocked off one star because the recording audio quality is just so terrible, why even have it on there? Also I’m concerned about the water pump surviving. Other than that, it’s a great automatic dispenser!

Makes grinding/groaning noise but works for now
Decent sized capacity, holds about 10 cups of larger kibble. Portion size is small, 10 portions equal 3/4 cup which spreads out nicely in the dish. The dish holds 15 portions but the kibble piles and backs up into the spout. I was able to program it eventually even though the instructions aren’t great. It turned on at the programmed time and dispensed the right amount at each trial, but it made this weird grinding/groaning noise. Another issue is that the tank won’t come back off no matter how hard I try, I’m afraid of breaking it. This is a problem since I won’t be able to wash the tank. The water fountain is ok, the pieces don’t fit together perfectly but it still seems to work.

Nice Cat Feeder and Water Fountain Combo
As a busy pet owner, this device has been amazing addition to our home. I love that I can schedule meals multiple times a day, which means my furry friend gets consistent, portioned meals even when Iâm not home. Programming took a bit of patience, but once set up, it works like a charm.The feeder can run on both plug-in power and batteries, so thereâs no worry about power outages interrupting my petâs feeding schedule.

I love this so much. I love hearing the food drop into the bowl (and trust me, so does my cat) because I wasn’t thinking of it. It means I don’t ever forget to feed her. It’s nice that it runs on AC power, but takes batteries so that it will continue to feed even if the power is out. It also gives me so much flexibility in terms of, like, going out to happy hour after work and not worrying about leaving my cat hungry.The water thing is also nice, since cats generally prefer moving water. But I already have a much nicer one that notifies me via app when it needs refilled and even lets me know when and how much water my cat drinks in a day. But still, this basic one is fine.

Decent basic feeder
So far so good. Holds a decent amount of food and the programming is pretty straightforward. Havenât tested if the battery backup works yet, but if it comes unplugged without the batteries in it, you DO have to reset the clock, but the programmed feeding schedule seemed to still be intact.If I could change one thing, it would be smart phone connectivity. Sometimes it is nice to drop food with the push of a button on my phone, but on this unit, you have to either use the programmed drop, or push a physical button on the machine. But they donât advertise it as a smart device, so I canât complain.You can also record a 10-second audio clip when food drops, and from what I experienced, the recording was pretty terrible, so I wouldnât buy it if that is important to you.But overall, itâs a good decent feeder for my cats.
