Works for what is needed, and is a good fit for my two larger dogs
We have two 50lb+ dogs. They have the ability to go outside when needed, but we live our life around their feeding schedule twice a day. This gives a bit of freedom for sure. I don’t have it do a full serving, but rather smaller servings in the afternoon starting around 3:30. Their normal feeding is at 5, but if we are running later I have confidence that they are not ready to knaw the legs of the couch off. If you know for sure you are going to be going, you can just up the serving size for those times. Otherwise it is a snack that is scattered in the afternoon. And whichever dogs discovers it or is close to it when the food drop comes wins.

Not Great for Dogs and No Return!!!!
Be aware that this really doesn’t work for medium sized dogs as it will not dispense enough food even with multiple settings added for one feed. Very disappointed as I had simply unboxed, not used and didn’t note I could not return. No food was ever added but as a food container for safety reasons it cannot be returned. I wish this had been easily visible and not in small print under the cart section only. Very unhappy with the ease of programming this product as well. Overall a no purchase review from me.

Just what I was looking for!
I was looking for an automatic feeder that could hold a lot and didn’t need to connect to the internet. We just moved to a new house and our Internet is only 5G now, and my old automatic feeder only connected to 2.4g. And this one holds twice as much as before. I use to have to refill the feeder once every 3-4 days and now I fill it once every week or so. It also has 8 feeding times so I can split my dogs portions into two feedings so she doesn’t woof it all down at once. It definitely helps her eat slower. I couldn’t be happier with this.

I have a yellow lab and initially I thought the bowl would be too small but it really works out nicely. Itâs definitely very shallow – if you feed your dog more than one cup iâm not sure if this machine would work well for you because the bowl is a little on the shallow small side. But other than that itâs great and perfect for when iâm away at work it can feed my lab perfectly 🙂

Mini horse is happy!
This is perfect for my mini horse with diabetes/insulin resistance! Now she can get small feedings and snacks throughout the day and night to help her metabolism stay stabilized! We just built a shelf, installed a sturdy wire cage around the unit, and screwed her feed tub to the stall mats! Wa la!!

The products design is of a modern aesthetic that fits seemlessly in with my existing decor. Connection to the Tuya based app was straightforward and painless, only taking a couple of minutes with no hiccups in my experience.Portion sizes are relatively small at roughly 9 biscuits per portion. This requires feeding to consist of 10 – 20 portions for anything approaching appropriate for a medium to large breed. Thankfully the hopper can hold an average 8kg of kibble, so there’s plenty of supply.The included camera is of a quality similar to a laptop built in webcam from around 2016. This is adequate for its purpose however the odd fixed angle and limited field of view does constrain its usefulness as it only captures the end of the snout on my german shepherd while he eats, and only his paws while approaching. While the ideal solution would be to allow the camera to tilt, it could be just as easily solved by simply increasing the angle upward.The scheduling feature is the most useful, as it automates kibble feeding times. The efficiency gains here alone make this a worthwhile order.

This feeder works with power provided through a USB cable, or with batteries. You can program the number of feedings you want to provide each day, and the portion sizes. You can also record a voice message that plays when the food is dispensed. However, you cannot adjust the volume of the message, and it is loud enough that it wakes us up on those days we sleep past that first feeding. For smaller kibble, it works very well, however, I did have some issues with larger kibble occasionally getting jammed in the rubber impeller. Getting it cleared out can be difficult. It has only happened a couple times and since keeping the dispenser container below half full, I haven’t had any further kibble jams. Perhaps the weight of a full dispenser and the size of the kibble cause it to jam. My dog absolutely loves this and goes running when he hears that first kibble hit the bowl. The unit comes apart fairly easily for cleaning. Programming is fairly straightforward if you read the manual. This product eliminates having to remember to feed your dog at specific times each day. Now I just look at the dispenser, and add more food every few days when it’s low. Other that the occasional kibble jams, I really like this product.
