We really like these
They are not impossible but are definitely challenging. 8yo usually joins us, but we find the adults are doing most of the problem solving. A lot of fun clues and stories. Weâve done 4 of the clue escape games and we have really loved every single one. We also made sure to care for the game so we could pass it on.This is one time use!! You cannot play this again once you finish it.

A Fun Family Game Night!
I am a big CLUE fan as well as an escape room game fan. So this was a must have. I played by myself. The game contents are very well done. Everything looks great. The game is an escape room with a Clue theme. The box gives a difficulty rating of 2 out of 5 and I agree with this assessment. This is definitely easier to solve then the Exit or Escape the Room games and itâs definitely made for families. I did this solo and enjoyed it but it wouldnât be good for a group of adults. Unless you just really like the theme as I do. Just like the board game you have to figure out who killed Mr. Boddy? Where? And with What? The game is played with various tiles that will be placed to create the game board and a deck of numbered cards is used as the games AI if you will. Thereâs a tutorial first deck to show you how the game works. And the instruction booklet offers hints and solutions if you really need them. All the answers to the various puzzles are numbers and technically you can cheat by simply guessing the various number combination based on the cards you currently have. It doesnât always work but adults may figure this out quickly. As you explore the mansion more rooms are revealed and various cards give clues puzzles and items. Some even overlay on the tiles to form different pictures. For example when you open a cabinet one card overlays to show you the cabinet open and whatâs inside. Itâs very cool how the game looks and actually feels like your exploring the mansion. Production value and theming were great. After you solve all the puzzles you then take all the clues youâve gathered in the game and use those to solve the mystery. You could be right or wrong. I did guess correctly so the clues do lead you to the answer. I even messed up one puzzle so didnât get one of the clues but the remaining clues were enough to still solve it. If you donât get a lot of the clues though it may be harder to solve the ending. This is a one time game so once the family plays itâs done. However unlike other games you donât cut or rip anything so if you actually keep track of the various decks of cards you could possibly reset the game to give to someone else but Iâd advise writing down the card numbers of the various decks so you know how to separate it. Iâm tossing the game afterwards but I think you could reset it. It was a fun two hours I spent and if you play with the family thereâs little acting stunts to perform (like when a card says you reach out and get a shock youâre supposed to shake your hand and act like you were shocked until your next turn comes around). Cute. And thereâs some timed puzzles so keep your phone handy to use as a timer. But unlike other escape room games except for certain puzzles thereâs no overall time limit. I enjoyed this game and Iâd love if they made more but just be aware itâs on the easy side and is a one time game.

Thoroughly enjoyed
My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this game! It made sense and provided a good balance of challenge and flow. I personally wouldn’t enjoy repeating it once finished, but it took us 8 evenings to finish it playing between 30 and 90 minutes each time. We’ve passed it on to two other couples now who have played through it and enjoyed it as well. One of them said that they could see playing it again if they waited a year or two, so maybe some people would enjoy going through it a second time. It would also be enjoyable for teens, I think, but I doubt that most children would like it even in a group context.

Great game!
Me and my 11 year old got it right! This one was a nice complex mystery that took some thinking. A few of the little puzzles inside were challenging and we needed the hints in the book.

We love these clue games. This one is neat cause the rooms build a ship as the game board! The game play is easy, yet challenging puzzles! Buy it!

Did this one with the whole family (kids are 10 and 12yo). Everyone enjoyed it. The puzzles were maybe a little easier than previous titles, but that didn’t affect the enjoyment. Clever use of components.I’m hoping they continue adding to the series.
