Just a good pair of sunglasses
I bought these 1) because I didn’t have a good pair of sunglasses to fit my fat head, and 2) because I was going on a beach vacation and wanted some floating glasses in case they flew off my head from a big wave or something. I normally don’t spend much money on sunglasses but these were worth it and were still relatively inexpensive for what you get.Pros:-got a lot of compliments about how good they looked on me, which I normally don’t with sunglasses since they usually are too small. These just seemed to fit everyone that tried them on, just a good style.-great packaging. Comes in a bamboo tube for protection, has a cloth glasses case inside for further protection, a microfiber cloth to clean the lenses, and as an added bonus a string to connect to the frame in case you want them to hang around your neck and not fall off.-bamboo is lightweight, they float, feels good on the head, fits well.-lenses block out the sun and you still can see really well through them.cons:-nadaI’m very happy with my purchase, and will be going with Cloudfield sunglasses in the future if I need another pair.

Cool bamboo glasses
Update 5/25/2019The manufacturer sent me a replacement pair of glasses a couple of weeks ago. Theyâre still in one piece, so Iâm optimistic. I have been storing them in the provided wooden container anytime I put them in my bag or glove compartment. I think the bottom line is that these are a really good pair of glasses as long as you treat them as if theyâre made of wood :). The upside to that is theyâre much lighter than my ray bans and have very good tension, so Iâm not worried about them flying off my face. My only tentative concern is how theyâll hold up to moisture (e.g. swear or rain). If they are any other issues, Iâll update my review again, but I definitely recommend them as of now.I ordered these sunglasses, because I went to Florida on vacation and forgot my normal pair. I love the look of them, and theyâre very lightweight. The downside is that theyâre extremely fragile. They literally lasted me two days before they broke. Full disclosure, I did not carry them around in the hardened wood case they came in. I did, however, have them in a semi-hard ray ban case whenever I didnât wear them. They ended up breaking inside of the case when I had them in my backpack. Itâs possible that someone kicked my bag when I wasnât looking, but I doubt it. If you are incredibly careful with your glasses, these are pretty trendy ones. Otherwise, I would go with something else.

These sunglasses have the nice wooden look I wanted. Theyâre not very comfortable tho. Will wear for style but not long duration wearing. Hinge is very nice and will spring wide if you need wider sunglasses. Plastic lens is good typical, nothing over the top.

I usually have a hard time finding sunglasses that fit my small face and that sit right, but these fit perfectly. I ordered them almost expecting to return them, but I love them. Very comfortable and lite. Highly recommend these if you look for smaller frames of this style.

I wanted to like them, but kind of meh
I typically get cheapo Pugz from the grocery store or gas station but when my last set broke, no one had the ones I liked. So I looked online for some similar sun glasses and found these. The reviews say they’re the hottest shizzle on earth. Sweet, ordered a pair. And yeah, they’re fairly nice. My biggest complaint though, and it’s a fairly big one, is that they fall off my face. Like they don’t grip my head well. They included a lanyard, as if predicting this would be an issue. But I don’t like lanyards because they get in the way of putting the glasses on my head/hat when not using them.I can see through them fine, they provide good protection, they’re wood (as opposed to cheapo plastic) and I think they look nice. But they don’t like staying on my face, which is a pretty basic requirement for sun glasses to be effective at their purpose. Maybe I have a skinny head. Maybe I’m a greasy bastard all of the time. Maybe my ears aren’t ‘hooky’ enough. I dunno, but because of their propensity to seek out the ground, I’m giving them a fairly meager review. If you’ve got a fat head, don’t ever look down, or live in low gravity, you might be good to go.

I’ve owned Ray Ban’s my entire life. My brother loved my Ray ban wayfarer glasses so i gave them to him. I missed the look of those glasses but didn’t want to shell out close to $100 for them again. i’m extremely excited i found these Cloudfield glasses. The main reason i wanted to try these glasses over other wood glasses was they’re made of sustainable bamboo. if it’s sustainable, i feel no guilt! that was huge for me.Short and sweet review-Easily THE most lightweight and comfortable sunglasses i’ve ever owned. it surprised me how comfortable these are actually. I love putting these on, they’re durable feeling and you dont notice them on your face; they’re so comfortable. out of all my ray ban’s i’ve owned over the years, none of them come close to blocking light like these cloudfield glasses do. I always found ray ban a bit heavy and uncomfortable at times. That is not an issue with these Cloudfield,I’m a massive fan of these shades, i dont know why i’d ever go back to ray bans. i LOVE the sustainable material, the price, the weight, the feel and how much they cut out the sun. absolutely love these shades, i’ll definitely be buying more sunglasses from Cloudfield.

Excellent build quality. From the responsive springy hinges, and beautifully hand-crafted wooden frames, to the hyper-clear, dark, plastic lenses, these sunglasses seem to be constructed to high standards. Time will tell, but so far they look to be robust enough to stand up to daily use and maintain a fashionable statement for many years. I’ll update this review if anything fails over time. On top of that, they are extremely light-weight! I can understand where the name “Cloud”field comes from; it’s like you’re wearing nothing at all. The fit is a little snug on the temples when putting them on, but not uncomfortable. It also ensures they stay put when shaking my head around. Those ‘springy’ hinges do allow for some rebound to ensure they won’t break when stretching them over my larger melon. That said, they also suited my son’s smaller coconut too! All in all, an excellent pair of sunglasses for the price!
