The beard oil is the best part of this collection. That and the wooden comb. The oil is paraben free, and contains vitamin E, Shea butter and mineral oil. I would not use combo on my hair as mineral oil tends to sit on top, but it does impart a great shine and will be fine for Mr. Deep in Thoughtâs beard.The beard wash contains sulfate and the conditioner is built on mineral oil, glycerin and dimethicone. Both are paraben free and contain Vitamin E and Shea butter.The shave cream has an abundance of PEGs but also paraben free with Vitamin E and Shea butter.The sandalwood scent itself is nice, no chemical undertones.Accepting that this is not the most nourishing of items for your beard, it still makes for a beautifully presented collection and will make your bearded one smell great.

If you know a stinky hippie into Sandalwood scent, this is the perfect gift
The good news is that I am not a hippie…and I dont stink, but I do like the smell of Sandalwood, so I picked this up for my own personal use, even though its designed as a gift. It comes in a wee tub that I am not sure what to do with, but the items inside the tub are really pretty cool…the wooden comb isn’t something I thought I’d use, but my face hair loves it after the beard conditioner and oil.The shave cream is an interesting consistency and quite small, but since I only shave my neck, I am hoping that it’ll last a long time.The best part about this set is that the sandalwood scent seems to linger just long enough around your face…I think that after a couple of hours, I’d probably get sick of it, but by then the smell has dissipated just enough that its super faint.This would make a great gift for anyone, but especially for stinky hippies!

I really don’t like hubby’s scratchy beard so figured I’d give this to him to try. Not only does it smell amazing but it seems to be working as his beard is softer and more supple and did I mention it smells good 🙂 Hubby said he likes the oil the best. I’m considering getting another one as a Christmas gift as I really liked how it came packaged with a bow in a cute bathtub shaped container.Update: the tub has been claimed by the kids.
