Very thin molded plastic for the trays that hold your pieces. Thin like disposable plate thin. Bought for a gift for granddaughter, but ended up not giving it because of the quality. The package says for ages 3+, but I don’t see anyone under 5 or 6 playing it, if that. It requires dexterity to place the rubber bands on the board. I would be fearful of a young child hurting themselves with rubber bands that snap back. The concept requires some strategy, not just placement.
