Quiet Quality Unit Worked As Described, Though MY Cat Wouldn’t Use It, Even After Days Of Trying.
I bought this thinking it might interest my cat in drinking more water during a recovery period where his kidney numbers weren’t what they needed to be. He was actually getting IV fluids during this time. I thought the fresh “running” water would be attractive to him. (This is a cat that will drink from the toilet if allowed. : / ) Apparently I was wrong! Despite keeping fresh filtered water in the unit, and trying different locations around the house for over a week, he pretty much ignored it, and never even tried it once, preferring a regular stainless bowl of the same water just sitting there instead! (After “stirring” it with his paw first of course!) Cats! Go Figure!But I was impressed with the unit itself! It was clean looking and Stainless Steel like his other food / water dishes, which is just my preference for keeping his containers clean. It was easy to assemble, easy to clean, and ran quietly when plugged in. ( I tried it running, AND unplugged! He wasn’t interested! ) I was kind of disappointed it didn’t interest him. And he’s fully recovered now. But Amazon returns made it very easy to package back up and return for a refund! Nothing wrong with the unit, just useless if my cat wouldn’t use it! But it’s a great design and works as shown, with easy maintenance! Good Product! Good luck!

Cats Love It – & cleaning tip
All 3 of my cats love it & use it daily. I clean it once a week, change the filters monthly. After about a year, the motor quit working when I plugged it in after a clean. I decided to check out the motor & sure enough there was a ton of algae clogging the propeller. Very simple to take the motor apart, just be gentle. Not a lot of parts and very evident where everything goes. I used a toothpick & small straw brush to clean it out. Reassembled, plugged it in, and itâs working fine again. Took just a couple of minutes & saved the expense of a new unit. Going forward Iâll be cleaning it every time I change the filters!

I really like how it works, itâs not completely quiet but itâs not super loud. I had it for about 2 months before it stopped working. Not sure if itâs the pump but I had to go back to a normal water bowl. Itâs quite easy to clean and assemble overall really nice. I would rate higher if it didnât break.

We got 2 cats about a year ago, and decided to go with the square version of this water fountain. For the most part it’s easy to assemble, I don’t remember having too much difficulty putting it together though I vaguely remember being slightly confused about how to put the filters in (the blue one goes on top, and the other round one goes in with the flat side up). It’s stainless steel, so it’s SUPER easy to clean the base, but the spout can be a bit difficult to clean. The top part of the spout comes off so we do that and can clean it fine, but I’m not 100% sure we’re supposed to be able to remove the flat top on the spout. Cat fur gets caught in the blue filter, so I try to pick that out occasionally. fur also gets stuck on the outside of the white intake pump, BUT! I haven’t had any issues with it actually getting IN the intake, it’s just stuck on the grill so you can wipe it off easy. It does get almost a slime on it, but I’m pretty sure that’s a combination of cat crumbs and the crap in our water supply. It’s super quiet unless it needs refilled, and even then it’s quiet enough I don’t always hear to refill it right away. I have it set to a stronger stream, which I recommend for it to properly flow the water better. I like the square shape because it’s easy to place in an out-of-the-way corner. I especially like how cheap it is to replace the filter(s) – a 6 pack of the filters runs just under $20, and that’s for 6 of each of the 3 filters. Basically, if you’re replacing the filters every other month it costs less than $20 a year in upkeep. I have not noticed any decrease in functionality in the year that we’ve had this fountain. Overall, when the one I purchased eventually dies I will definitely be replacing it with the same one, and I would definitely purchase this as a gift to a friend who needs a new one or is getting new cats!

Happy cat
At first I had trouble assembling it. It has this flimsy little floater that’s supposed to indicate water level. I couldn’t get it to line up and work so when I changed the filter, I just discarded it. I’ve noticed that the fountain runs silently but when the water gets low, it starts to make a gurgling sound. When that happens, I just add water. Kitty likes it so that’s all that matters.

Wonderful and a beautifully made product
This stainless steel fountain is very easy to set up. It’s very sturdy. I bought it to encourage my cats to drink more water to prevent more urinary issues, as it cost me lots of money at the vet’s office. I loved it. Easy to clean. But my cats were not so attracted to it. They rather use the traditional drinking bowl. After 2 weeks of trying, I decided to return it because my cats just ignore it completely. I would have kept it if they would use it.

Love the concept: three filters. Hate the round one because the water level indicator is worthless. Does not work. Should have gotten the square one. Probably would have been five stars. More likely four because of the noise. At least thereâs no more slime. Better for my cat.

I just received this yesterday. I do love that it is so quiet and does not splash at all. Very nice! The reason for the 4 star instead of 5 star, I do wish it came with at least one additional filter. It only came with the ones installed. One for the pump and the one for the purification of the water. They do work well, and I hope they hold up until my filter order is delivered. I also appreciate that this was a Prime same day delivery. My kitties are very happy.

Eu até esqueço que está ligado e o consumo de energia é semelhante ao de carregar celular, fone de ouvido e tal. Para ligar, se uma um cabo USB que vem com o carregador, mas a entrada dele requer adaptador porque é um modelo estrangeiro. Só que é um adaptador desses baratinho, que acha por 2 pila em qualquer loja de esquina. O pote e o prato são inox, super fáceis de limpar, mas tem um suporte interno pros filtros, o bico e a boia de plástico. Dentro, vem os filtros: umas esponjas sintéticas pra parar os pelo e o filtro em si. O primeiro uso requer limpeza especÃfica, mas só demora 10 minutos.Meu gato ficou feliz com a fonte, apesar de ainda não ter aprendido a beber muito. Esqueceu totalmente das torneiras de banheiro. Mantém a água circulando geladinha até nos dias que deu 40ºC se deixo em ambiente interno e na sombra.Nos comentários tem alguns comentários sobre a linha vermelha da bomba não ser suficiente, mas o volume de água retido é tão grande que mesmo no Centro-Oeste, onde é seco e quente, só precisa encher o pote de novo a cada 4 dias se cada vez você enche no limite máximo.à fácil de limpar! Mas precisa ter atenção nos produtos. Leia o manual!!!!Não tem sensor de movimento.

Melhor investimento que fiz! Os gatos normalmente bebem pouca água mas a fonte incentiva eles a se manterem mais hidratados. Todo de inox, o que faz toda a diferença pois não contamina a água e sinto que mantém a água numa temperatura mais agradável. Alem disso ela é extremamente silenciosa e não tem led. A limpeza dela é fácil também, e percebo que fica pouco pelo no filtro, o que antigamente já foi problema. Meus gatos amaram e eu também!
