If you own cats…you know…you MUST have many cat scratching posts around the house or else your furniture will be destroyed.as such…these end up getting torn apart quickly…so replacement posts are handy in that all you have to do is replace and good to go.only draw back on these is that they are a bit smallish in the diameter…its fine…cats don’t care…but I’m use to having some very large posts…other than that…we’ll see how long they last
