Very sturdy, easy to assemble & kitten LOVES it
This is quite sturdy and well designed. I put it together quickly with the included allen wrench. Size is perfect for kitty climbing. He runs up it and jumps off, and it barely wobbles. No smells. Feels strong and safe. My 6 week old kitten just loves it.Fav part – weight of it, ease of assembly and it’s so cute too!Issues? – the hanging ball was in two pieces (both attached by the cord still). I’ve put it back together but it won’t stay, so I’ll glue it at some point. – NOTE: THIS IS NOT A DEAL BREAKER!

The BEST Cat scratcher!
My boys sat and watched me put this together. Took a whole 5 minutes, very easy. They immediately started scratching it and playing with it. My boys are older (15 & 6) so I wasnât sure if they would even bother with the ball. As you can see in the video my one boy was having a blast! My boys are big boys too. 17-20 pounds each and as you can see he wasnât going easy on it. It was moving but very little and not tipping over. Very impressive! I HIGHLY recommend this. Itâs great sturdy quality and looks good too. Itâs tall enough so they can stand and stretch out to scratch too. Very happy with my purchase. My boys are even happier:) I will definitely be a forever customer and purchase more from this company in the future.

Great addition to your space!
Couple of things. To keep it short – itâs a great addition to any room, itâs sturdy for the most part, and comes with a toy. Taller than most scratching post which is nice for my cat!! Easy to assemble too – only complaint would be the rope at the base comes off easily

This was a big hit with my three kittens but the base is not as heavy as one would wish it to be, nor do I like the split folding base. Placement is important because if a cat is able to climb to the top, as does happen frequently, leaping to another nearby surface from the tree top can kick over and topple the tree, in my case into a nearby litter box. Gross. I now keep it close enough to step off onto a nearby cat tree and it’s not been a further problem. I was hoping for something more visually interesting but as sturdy as the SmartCat Ultimate Scratching Post, and while this product does not entirely succeed at both criteria, it is indisputably popular with the kittens as long as it doesn’t tip over and make them afraid of using it.I’d like to add that placing one of these in front of a modern cat tree that featured a little-used cat condo enclosure has seen a sharp rise in the use of that condo. It seems as if having the tree out front of the “tree” has the added effect of making the condo feel more secluded and attractive a napping spot. Something to consider.

It’s a good size and looks nice. Easy enough to put together. I have a 9 lb cat and a 23 lb cat. So far hasn’t fallen over with my big cat but he hasn’t been too rough with it. So it’s a wait and see if my big cat really puts his force into it which he usually does. It’s hard to find anything for bigger cats that don’t fit the norm. He’s tall and wide as well. So far so good. I’ll update if need be. You cam now see the wear on this tree which tells me there is no way it’s going to last.the one I had before this lasted 6 yrs before it showed wear like this so I’m downgrading the stars and will update again.
