After my reciew the company reached out to make sure they could resolve any issues and for that I changed to 4 stars. As the product did not stick to my couch it may work with s different fabric, and I will say it sticks to other surfaces like my floor and wall( I was curious).The customer service is exceptional. They are giving a full refund.

Very good for couch corners
I did not want the cats to tear up my new chenille sofa. I cut off sections of this carpet roll, and put it on the corners where they were scratching. I’ve only had it a week, but it is sticking well.

I wasted money on this. It was not sticky enough to keep on carpets or walls especially for a cat. The stickiness could get on the cats paw of fur and I consider this a dangerous product to use for animals, I would not suggest it at all. No thanks.

Okay if you have very young/weak cats
I have some rolls of sisal rope but it takes ages to glue onto the ottomans we planned on using them on. I bought this in hopes that our cats like it.Pros: Soft life carpet. Our girl cat loved this since she likes softer things on her paws.Cons: The glue sticks to the ottoman, but not the carpet mat. A lot of pulling came occurred before our strong boy cat started using this. The pulling happened at a faster rate once he decided he liked it.I dunno how long it’ll be before I’ll have to replace the mat, but I guess it’s okay-ish. Cats seem happy with it. I can’t complain too much considering how much I spend on cardboard scratchers that have a far shorter lifespan than this stuff.

I purchased this in hope of covering up my sad couch corners and turn it around to the official scratching post for my cat. Unfortunately the mat itself does not stick well so I have to constantly press back down and the material is more of a cheap office floor carpet material, which does not interest my cat at all.
