First Camera Didn’t Work, Waiting on the Second
So my first camera was broken. I believe the MicroSD reader on it was bad. No matter what I did it would light up 5 times, indicating there was no SD card inserted. It wasn’t an issue with my card. It was able to be read and written to on both my Windows PC and my MacOS laptop. The manual calls for exfat or fat32. It was exfat but I tried formatting to it again, no luck. I even used the command line to force ably format a 64GB MicroSD to the archaic fat32 standard, cutting my storage in half. It doesn’t work in the camera either.Make no mistake, there is a reason you are reading a review with under 4 stars instead of skipping it altogether. This wasn’t made my a western company who puts thought, R&D into their product. This was thought up by the Chinese factories as a product. There is no name brand of this size. Hopefully I just got a bad one and the second one will work great like I want it to. There is no QA department here.Which brings me to why I wrote this review. We’ve been helping out a feral cat. He usually comes like twice a week, but after I bought this camera to see what he was doing. He didn’t come back for like a month. By the time I got the chance to try out this camera (which was always sitting on my desk.) It was past the return Window Amazon provides. So instead of returning I was met with info to contact the manufacturer. I called their 800 number. No answer and the voicemail confirmed they were open when I called in PST time. So I called 2 hours later. Same thing happened. So I had to google for an Amazon support number to get help.I’m ordering another with reduced expectations. I was always expecting to put these videos through Premiere Pro. Stabilizing what probably looks bad out of the camera. But if I get another brick I will go scorched earth on this company. With pictures and videos a plenty to steer others the opposite way.I really wish someone like DJI or GoPro made an actual competing product. I would easily pay double to avoid this exact scenario. But that’s not what this is.

We used this with our baby goats in the winter but found the babies were so warm it fogged up the cam.We saved it and later got 2 puppies this summer and used it with themâ¦â¦they wrestle so much and run too fast it was a blur of fur. Then we got some great video but our computer crashed to get pics and videos off to upload.The camera is time 1â squared with a nice silicone cover. Does not come with a micro SD card which is required and the collar is super nice quality with great latch. Battery lasts, even in cold weather.You can have a lot of fun with this!! Just keep an eye on whoâs wearing itâ¦â¦forgot to take it off and put dogs in crate, they chewed it and the camera ð¡. Good value for price

Difficult set up for such a tiny device
I really, really wanted to see what my cat does on her adventures, but the âinstructionsâ are tiny print, difficult to read and tech support is closed 🙁 The instruction videos on their website do NOT include instructions on this one. So, we are left really disappointed. The software is really archaic and does not prompt setup as easily as other software does. Bummerâ¦
