Nice Surprise
I purchased this from a Cardi B tictoc … why not her skin is beautiful. I was pleasantly surprised, my skin felt softer with a more clear appearance. I have normal skin… not many break out but always wanting improvement. I really liked it. Not to drying when applied a very healthy glow after rising. I’m 59 so I recommend for mature skin. Will try the face wash soon. Great value with nice results.

Fun to use and gentle, but I’m not sure how effective it is at exfoliating.
I’ve included a photo of the entire side of the box that’s translated to English.If you look up what Boryeong mud is, there’s a famous Boryeong Mud Festival in South Korea that sounds like a blast.I’ll update this review accordingly if I notice improvement or ill effects over time, but after one use I still have some flaky skin, and my pores don’t look noticeably better. I do give the company kudos for creating a product that didn’t irritate my sensitive skin. In hindsight, I don’t know what I was thinking not testing this on my arm and/or foot before trying it on my face. That was risky for me.The box describes it as a creamy mask–it is a creamy mask.It’s got a green tinge, and that is from the seaweed (macro-algae) that are included.The description says it’ll remove sebum and impurities leaving skin smooth and clear.The jury’s still out on that. I read somewhere that you’ll notice the effects in 4 weeks. Four weeks?Call me a cynic, but that’s a convenient period of time for any product claim.And that brings me to the instructions for use:”After washing your face, apply an appropriate amount to the dry face excluding the area around the eyes and mouth, then rinse off thoroughly with lukewarm water when it dries.”Translations should always be treated with some generosity. I’m sure they mean to avoid getting the product in your eyes and mouth by not getting it too close.But what does an “appropriate” amount mean?And how often should one use this product? Daily? Weekly? Monthly?There’s no indication that it should be rubbed in, just applied.It’s certainly more gentle than the torture of apricot scrub which feels like rock pudding compared to this.In addition to the natural ingredients (water, sea silt, seaweed, fig extract, tea tree oil, etc.), there are plenty of ingredients that I can’t pronounce–most of them likely to make the product hold together in the tube, last for three years (expiration date on the tube is in 2027!), and apply in a way that consumers find desirable.It did tingle somewhat intensely, almost a mild burning sensation, but that subsided after a minute, and my face isn’t even red.I think if they really want you to wait for it to dry, you should smooth on a layer that’s just opaque enough to not be streaky, but not so much that there are any gloppy areas. It takes a while to dry.I put it on and sat in the bathtub for half of an Eras tour film, and it was still mostly not dry.It takes quite a bit of effort to wash it off, and you’ll notice the algal ingredients most at this stage, because it’ll feel slippery like when you touch seaweed on the coast. Bits of the mud will want to stick to your sink, so be prepared with a sponge to clean that up.Recommendation, use a soft, stretchy, cloth headband to keep your hair out of the mud.

Noticed immediate results after first use. My face felt super soft..way softer than normal and pores were smaller. Bought it after seeing Cardi B TikTok.

Caused major allergic reaction
I have never experienced an allergic reaction to any products I have used in the past until now. I applied the mask to my face and stepped away from the mirror to let it dry. I almost immediately felt a warm sensation. After maybe a minute, I felt tightness on my face and thought to was due to the mask drying. I retuned to the mirror to see my face was severely swollen. I rinsed the product off and my entire face was red and swollen. Again, I don’t have sensitive skin and have never had issues with with any other products. I was so excited to try this product after reading and watching many reviews, but it’s a no for me.
