Both cats Love it!
I have two cats who donât get along so one lives upstairs and the other downstairs. One is older, chill and sleeps a lot, the other is the definition of âscaredy catâ, more energetic more curious and more jumpy. Each one has their own and itâs their favorite thing. The old one loves to scratch it like crazy after a good poop, and likes the security it gives her when sheâs laying on it. The younger one likes to chill in it from time to time and itâs her number 1 scratch pad. When one side wears out you flip it over and itâs brand new. The flakes are easy to scoop up with your hand as they clump together and whatâs left can be vacuumed with no problem. I buy a refill once every 3-4 month and have replaced the entire thing maybe every 3 years as they are sturdy. The old one enjoys to take a ride in it like a flying carpet. While not cheap, it is quality. 5 stars out of 5.

Extremely easy to assemble, apparently comfy to sleep in. I have a rather large, long cat and its long enough for him to lay and be comfy. He uses it for scratching now, but took him a while to really get the idea. He doesn’t use the sides at all, for scratching. I also like the ease of replacement, where the twine scratching posts take a lot more work to replace, but this doesn’t last as long as twine by quite a bit. If your cat, like mine, loves cardboard boxes, this will work for you and your cat will most likely end up liking it.

My god, this is expensive cardboard. With that said, you get what you pay for. When compared to the 3 for $10 hanging door scratchers, the longevity of these purely outweigh the intitial sticker shock. The cardboard lasts at least 3-4 times longer than the cheaper alternatives and they are direct replacements for the cat lounge. My cat loves to destress on these and regularly sharpens her weapons on them. I can guarantee success because her claws are razor sharp. I’m typing with 4 bandaids on my fingers right now… I may pass out from all the blood loss but they were like razors. I didn’t feel them until I made guacamole and started squeezing the limes in. Damn cat really wants to kill me.

My cats love the orginial stretch lounge! So much that I have to replace the inserts so they can continue to use. They hold up for much longer than standard cardboard scratchers

I think these replacements are a bit higher quality than the cheaper scratch boards you can find, the other cheaper ones tend to wear down significantly quicker than these. My cats really love their scratch loungers. It’s their “safe spot”. I have a cat that only likes to be petted while in the scratch lounger. Any time I try to pet her while she is just laying on the floor, she’ll meow at me annoyed like and head to the lounger where it is the proper place to be petted. I do hate paying so much for cardboard, but I haven’t found anything else to fit the scratch lounger. One thing I noted was that I have the scratch lounge “classic” and when these arrived they said “scratch lounge XL”, but they fit in there perfectly, I just a moment of “oh no” when I opened the package.

Obviously these are the replacement inserts. But these cat lounger scratchers are awesome. My cat uses them exclusively in both my house and rv. Never pulls on anything else since I got these years ago. They are expensive for cardboard. But they work awesome.
