quiet and handles long hair well
This is a really low-stress grooming device. It’s quiet on the lowest setting and even at its lowest setting, it’s powerful enough to suck up long hair. The bristles are really gentle and much more comfortable than the pet hair brushes we have. The ends of the brush attachment have small, rounded plastic ends to increase comfort.Of course, the reception of your pets will depend on your relationship with them. If you have a hostile or overly skittish pet, even at the lowest level, they may still be annoyed or scared by it. However, it has a small foot print in the house and is very effective with a variety of accessories.Best thing about this vacuum is that it’s super easy to set up and clean! The design is well thought out and all you need to do to clean it is dump out the hair by unclipping the top and hinge it open. After that, it’s just quick wipe with some dry rags. The bottom of the device is also well-designed with a built in power cord storage winder.There is quite a bit of static after using, though, when I removed the bin from the base, so be careful and don’t do it near anything that could spark.Highly recommend it!

A nice setup!
I have a long haired dog, similar to a border collie in look & hair length. He’s a mix of a chow, husky, rottie, and Swiss shepherd so he has an undercoat. I’ve always groomed him myself, though not much beyond a good brushing a few times a week. This grooming vac ups my game! At first the sound made him a little on edge, but now he doesn’t mind it. It’s definitely quieter than a hair dryer, which I have used on him every now and then. I like that I can use this set up inside during the winter and that it sucks the fur up as I work. I trim his paw pads frequently(otherwise he skates around on hardwood floors), I love that the fur goes right into the vac. When I used a regular clipper I had to do it outside otherwise I’d be seeing that fur everywhere, forever. I’m a big fan of this grooming vac, well worth the cost and makes grooming really easy if your dog is tolerant of it.

I was concerned that this would be loud and that the noise would scare him. I can say the it was not and that overall the grooming went well.Our dog also has lots of mats and knots due to his hair type. The vacuum makes cutting these out a bit easier as the suction lifts the hair off the body and makes it easier to get to the knots.There are ample blades and attachments and all worked well. The moving part of the blade is plastic so there is little risk of nicks.Cleanup is a breeze as all of the hair is caught in the vacuum. Even on the middle setting it was enough suction.I was also pleasantly surprised to see that the manual was written in pretty decent English and was easy to understand.Overall, a great vacuum to have if you groom your pet at home.

If you have a pet that sheds a lot, this is fantastic. You can groom them and not have it go everywhere. Helps to keep your house less covered in hair. I mainly just use the brush, so I can’t really speak on the rest of the accessories, and this comes with a lot. The grooming and desheding brushes are fantastic to use consistently and keep your pets fur under control.
