So soft – Elsie loves it!
The original dog car seat, which was more expensive, was too hard and stiff for comfort. We bought this one, and it is nice and soft for Elsie to sit in. She usually goes right to sleep because she is so comfortable. It is made very sturdy and holds place nicely. We are getting a second dog and will be repurchasing this model.

Much better than my last bucket seat
Itâs unfortunate that so many bucket seats have to have all kinds of different latches, straps, etc. to mount them. Very few actually hook into the seatbelt like this one does. And if we ever were in an accident, I want the safety of the seatbelt restraint tied into our pets bucket. We are constantly moving the bucket to different positions in the vehicle to accommodate other passengers, or moving into other vehicles, so it never stays mounted for more than a few days in the same spot. Because of that all those other buckets/straps are huge pain in the butt, Not this one. Although itâs collapsible, the sides are firm enough that they donât collapse, unnecessarily under a dog leaning on its corner, this again was the downside of our previous bucket seat. Also love the fact that I can remove and wash the Velcro padding around the top as these will get dirty overtime.All in all, Iâm really happy with this one. I think itâs a great design and definitely Trumpâs many of the other products on the market, even the ones that are 2 to 3 times its price.

Just okay, not very sturdy
The strap that connects to the dogs harness broke on first use with a 15lb dog. That was one of the main reasons we were interested. The walls are not very sturdy, but it still does the trick. We just had to buy an additional strap that hooks to the headrest, which makes it easier to get tangled in.
