Comfy ride for pups
My two dogs like riding together on it. They are 20lbs ea and it allows them to see out.It seems well made and looks nice. A bit tricky to move from one vehicle to another.It is basically just a booster seat. There is no more additional safety than the straps. The dog could still fly forward in a crash. If my dogs were taller I would just put a cover on the seat and attach the clip (and save a lot of money.

Bye to Car Anxiety
My dog has really bad car anxiety riding in the backseat. With all of the reassurance, treats, etc I havenât been able to help him feel calm during car rides. Until this car seat. I never write reviews on Amazon but I had to for this purchase. Finally, car rides are much easier. Sure, he still has his moments but now he feels safe and secured during car rides and doesnât have to struggle with what to do with his body while the car is in motion.

Safe & Cozy
Our basset thinks he likes the car but really doesnât ð After looking at several of these car beds, landed with this one and itâs perfect for him. He is @ 70lbs but with short legs he fits just fine. Iâm not sure a taller dog that size would be as comfy. It boosted him high enough to see out the window. Kept him safe AND contained the dog hair! It took a little bit for him to relax but it was a total win for our 2 hour + car ride! I did put his favorite blanket in it for extra coziness. Iâd recommend a harness over attaching to a collar. We put in the middle so I could reach him (for calming ear rubs) but it would have fit easily on one side in my Honda Pilot for size comparison.Definitely worth it for my short chunky guy!

Calm and Happy Puppers
I got this in preparation for an upcoming road trip and have tested to see if it will be more comfortable for my babies than the seatbelt harness we’ve been using for years. They hopped right in and have been calm and happy for our shorter jaunts. Thanksgiving week will be the real test! Only thing to note is that the strap is a little long for a tiny dog. The mini chiweenie will sometimes jump out to find herself stuck on the seat next to it. I’m not sure if she can’t get back in or if she’s just playing me. Once in, the schnauzer hasn’t bothered trying to get out. Stayed secure and held up to an unexpected slamming of the brakes. Just slid forward a little but I might need to tighten the back strap.
