Its made of plastic so its lightweight and easy to carry around. It has rubber feet on the bottom that grip to most slick surfaces and doesn’t seem to move around much. It seems to be a good length, I don’t have a ton of guns but I have a wide variety of guns and have not found one that won’t fit in it. If you have the need to adjust the length just remove the four thumb screws and take out the middle section and the front and back can be placed anywhere (exactly like shooting bags). You can also remove the middle section and use the front rest for pistol shooting. The front rest has quite a bit of elevation adjustment but if you are like me and don’t have a professional shooting table, when I need more adjustment, I use boards under the front and/or back to achieve the desired position. The cradles are deep enough to hold the gun steady. I have mounted four scopes on guns and adjusted three others and have not had a problem with movement. I have shot small, medium and large caliber rifles and handguns along with shotguns using this rest and have not had a problem. The only complaint I have is that once you have the front elevation adjusted properly, you get a small amount of left to right movement when you tighten the thumb screw to lock it in place. Not a big deal, just move the rest left or right and its lined up and ready to go. Is this the best rest on the market? No. Is this the worst rest on the market? I don’t know since this is only the second rest I have ever used, but I would have to say, no. I’m not a marksman or a professional shooter so this rest does what I need and for the money I spent on it, it does a good enough job to make me happy and not want something different.

Its very light, it was cheap for me. It does what it is supposed to do.
I was looking for a cheap rifle rest. I didn’t want to make a homemade model. I got mine for 21 dollars and change on Amazon. I checked the next day it was 34 dollars. The rest does what it is supposed to do for light home use. Definitely not made for heavy professional use.

Excellent for the price
It blows my mind people complain about a $25.00 shooting rest, but most can complain on a sunny day. It’s plastic, it’s cheap and ya it works. Fantastic for airguns but yes I would question it’s reliability for any hard recoil use. However I kept my expectations realistic and that’s just it, be realistic here it’s not a lead sled, why would it be? Again bench shooting for airguns or rimfires it’s a fantastic value and I cannot fathom spending more for that purpose.

Utilisé pour bloquer mon bipied Caldwell Pivotâ¦.. qui pivotait, comme son nom lâindique.Simple a monter, en 5 minutes câest installé. Je recommande quand même de démonter le bipied de lâarme, pour être à lâaise.Le Pivot Lock est tout en plastique, les mâchoires intérieures le paraissent bien fragile. Attention donc à ne pas forcer au montage, et surtout, je pense quâune fois quâil est bloqué, il ne faut pas sâamuser a le desserrer et le resserrer toutes les cinq minutes. Bon, après, câest 20 balles⦠ça fera le boulot le temps que je me paye un beau bipied fixe!
