A must for solid food feeding
This is the only bib that actually works for feeding solid food. It covers the baby very well, so she cannot get the food all over her body like she used to do. This is also very easy to clean, simply by rinsing in the water and it dries within a few hours. I only bought one. I wash it after lunchtime, and hang it in the bathroom. It will dry by dinner time.

The best smock bib
These are THE BEST smock type bibs. We have three of them, and I will probably buy more. Before introducing our baby to solids I thought the silicon pocket bibs were the move but no. You need the arms covered as well, especially if youâre trying any sort of baby led weaning because the food ends up all over the place. If your baby has sensitive or eczema prone skin, itâs important to keep irritating foods off of the skin as well, and thatâs where the sleeves come in handy. They have held up well in the washing machine, and you can get away with hand washing/rinsing them at times as well for not so messy messes. No stains so far after three months of frequent use. Iâve not seen any liquid bleed through onto the shirt underneath. The prints are also adorable. These check all the boxes for us!

Buy No Other Bib
Bottom line – buy the bibRecently new mom here, so naturally I was flooded with cute baby bibs as gifts. Some were the traditional plastic bib with adjustable back ties and others were simple cloth bibs. Initially all these bibs seemed the same to me. But oh wrong I was! I didn’t realize a 6 month old could be filled with as many opinions as mine. After many days of strapping him into his highchair, which he equates to the likes of being imprisoned, and strapping on one bib to another, I realized I in fact have a particular 6 month old.A bib with a pouch to catch the food particles he doesn’t enjoy is a necessity. An easy to wipe down bib? Necessity. Adjustable closure to fit around his ever hefty growing neck? Necessity. I finally found a bib meeting all these parameters, but my little guy continued to make a mess. Perhaps the bib wasn’t placed tightly enough around his neck due to all the rolls. Perhaps he was displeased with the color. Who knows. Other than feeding him in a bathtub the easiest solution seemed to be a sleeved bib. This bib has met all of my expectations and beyond! I can place it over his entire body and he thinks it’s just another outfit piece, so I don’t get many complaints. It can catch everything that dribbles out his mouth when he’s too excited to focus on what’s next to eat. The adjustable neck tie is great for his ever expanding neck. He seems to enjoy being able to lick food from the front AND the arms of the bib now. I can easily rinse it in the sink when he’s finished and now I don’t have to wash him in the sink too! Overall it’s made me much happier, my little guy much happier, and saved quite a few outfits.

Well made, a little bulky and some weird design aspects
I purchased this, the Bumkin super bibs, and the Green Sprouts longsleeved snap and go bib for use with baby lead weaning with my infant, starting at 6 months old. This is well made, easy to clean, and does a decent job of handling babyâs mess. However the fabric is bulky and my baby finds the excess fabric very distracting while eating. Heâs big (in 12 month clothes) so I imagine this would be even more of an issue with an average or smaller sized 6 month old. The Green Sprouts bib by comparison is supposed to be for ages 12 to 24 months old, but fits him nice and trim, although Iâm not sure it will last him as long. At this point, I donât love the tie behind the neck on this bib. I canât quite get it snug enough to prevent food from dribbling down the neck hole, and I think the standard Velcro fasteners on the other bibs make them faster to get on and off. However sometimes the Velcro scratches my babyâs neck and the tie never irritates his skin so thatâs a plus. My baby also isnât attempting to rip off his bibs, so I can see how a tie would be preferable for toddlers who do that. As others have commented, I donât understand why the bib pocket is tacked shut in the center. My guess is that if you use these bibs for arts and crafts that bit of stitching makes it easier to use the pocket to carry crayons or paintbrushes, but itâs not helpful for feeding at all. The super bibs (by the same company) are not sewn this way and those pockets work much better for catching food. Also I wish the elastic around the hand holes was a darker color – on my bib the whole bib is trimmed in orange but those are white, so whereas the rest of the bib has resisted staining, the cuffs are prone to discoloration from orange or red foods like carrots or tomato sauce. Right now the cuffs fit my baby well – snug enough to prevent food from getting inside the sleeve and down his arms but not so tight that they cut into his skin. I do like that the bib is easy to wipe down and dries quickly, and it appears to be well made and durable. I suspect we will get a lot of use out of this, especially with the generous sizing, assuming the cuffs donât get too tight as he grows.

Cuts Down on Cleanup!
This sleeved bib is awesome! Itâs perfect for my son who just started eating solids and can get super messy. I was worried about it being too big at first, but itâs easily adjustable and fits my 5 month old (15 lbs, 25 inches) really well. I can easily wipe it down after he eats, or even quickly scrub in the sink using dish soap. To clean more in-depth I wash it in the laundry machine once a week and it comes out looking like new. This has saved so many outfits from my messy little eater. I also love the variety of fun prints this comes in, so cute!

Game changer!
With a toddler, things can get quite messy QUICK! I would have to undress her just for her to eat but not with this! Saves my life! Very durable, easy to clean. You can air dry it or throw it in the dryer.

These are great. Waterproof so if your kid spills they arenât soaked. Has saved us from many stained clothing. Washes easily by hand in the kitchen sink with dish soap and hang over the high chair to dry. We take them when we go for dinner with the kids. They pack up small too. Highly recommend.
