Great tool on rocking boats.
I really enjoyed having this on my last trip out. This made me much safer in the rough waters while trying to cut a line. I have been using a cutter that is built into the pliers I have but the blades get out of line and end up dull. This is a better option.I clip a towel to my belt loop so I added this to the same ring. It stayed out of the way and weighs nothing. I liked that it stayed out of the way until I needed it and then it springs back out of the way when done. It has a strong pull and does not snap and hang up. I chose the long nose cutters but I think I would like the short ones too. Even if I left the cutter open the long blades were not in the way and they don’t open up enough to really become a danger. The blades cut my braid easily and I have some poles with 50lb test on them. It cut my heavy Suffix very well and Im really pleased with the purchase.If it breaks or fails I will be update this review. No update means no problems. I also plan on buying two of the short blade tools and gift one to my brother. If they turn out better for some reason I will also update this review for that.

Very sharp and very convenient, but let’s see how it holds up for a week that’s the reason for my 3 stars.Edit: Itâs well worth it but for a much more cheaper price, honestly since it doesnât stay sharp for long compared to a regular scissor.
