Solid GoPro mount
The mount is made out of aluminum with hex threaded bolts to connect the two pieces to the seat rail. The connector piece was a tad bit snug for my GoPro4 and works just fine. I like the mount is made out of metal vs plastic. Would recommend as a solid alternative to the plastic mounts.

Quality mount
I was impressed with the quality and fitment of this GoPro saddle mount for the inexpensive price. Great value. I added a layer of Gorilla Tape to the saddle rail mounting are to reduce some vibration and for better grip. I’m not sure it was necessary, but I did it anyways.

Use Thread Lock!!
Works well, solid construction. Just one complaint and a word of caution:⺠This thing is engineered to fit one width, and that width may not fit your seat rails where you want this thing to actually be positioned. Either be prepared to lump it or to buy a new seat. At the manufacture: If you could put multiple groove sets in this thing without weakening the integrity, it would be awesome!⺠I learned the hard way (again, /sigh) that for applications like this, you really, really need to use thread lock to make sure the bolts don’t work loose. This cost me a GoPro in traffic this past weekend. (To be clear, this is NOT a knock on this product, just a word of caution and advice for you, the reader.)

Poor design
I was trying to use this for mountain biking on a full squish bike, I was worried that the camera would hit the rear wheel then the suspension got compressed with the dropper post down and low and behold it does⦠because of the unnecessary inch or so the mount makes the camera go back, if it went straight down the camera would not hit the wheel whatsoever very poor design considering that extra inch that goes back is unnecessary for mounting, makes a weak point on the mount, adds torque and stress on the mount, and causes the camera to hit on the rear wheel

Loose screws and no GoPro receiver
Mount fits on the saddle just fine but one of the screws won’t spin tight. Just keeps popping out — not sturdy, not good.Also, the actual gopro mount lacks the metal receiver on the other end to get it tight. Camera will mount just fine but flops all over the place because it is not tight.Bad product. Bad design. Not enough necessary hardware included in packaging and what was included was crap quality. Would not recommend.

I use it on my go pro 7. Only caveat is to regularly check the screw mount is tight. Customer service is also excellent.
