So obviously because this is a men’s tool there are limited female reviews. I bought this because I’m hairy and I wanted a versatile tool that would make shaving easier with less nicks and cuts because also on top of being hairy I’m accident prone. Conclusion: eh.So I’m just gonna give a super honest review. Shaved my legs 4 days ago with a regular razor. Used this today on my spikey stubble of doom and the shaver attachment (foil shaver) got pretty close, won’t say smooth like a baby’s butt but smooth enough with like a few hairs I went back over a bunch of times and it wouldn’t grab even though they were stubble and not longer. I’m a hair dresser so I use tools like these on people’s heads and do know how to use them properly, it got most of the hair but not enough for a 5 star review. 4 stars for versatility but it’s like a 3 star tool.It has a dial on it that from the reviews seems like doesn’t work on theirs so maybe a common defect or people can’t figure it out. It worked for me. The dial controls the length when the clipper head is on. I don’t know how to adjust the speed even though it’s advertised 5 speed or whatever. Not a problem just kinda suss and weird. But guards are a range on length and when you put the clipper head on it adjusts the clipper guard to the length rather than adjusting the blade attachment (which has to be on so you can attach the guard to it, use the regular trimmer attachment NOT the T Blade and put the guard corresponding to the range of length then adjust specifically with dial).Also did pits and had shaved two days ago and did them with the foil shaver. Don’t do it dry. It’s not comfortable. I did under one arm and it was a bit irritated (very very mild razor burn) cuz I was curious and wanted to test out if it was wet dry for realsy. Inclusive, I have sensitive skin and thick coarse hair 🤷🏻‍♀️Also I did groom the netherworld region… Cuz despite my girl being a ghost town I like her to look nice- used one of the guards to take her down and then the dial.Wasn’t going for smooth except around the bikini line and then used 0 guard and then the foil shaver. Worked decently.Anyways, it works but you do gotta make a few passes to get a close shave with the foil shaver. Tbh, kinda just makes me wanna get another wahl foil shaver and use that when I want a clean shave and just use this with the guards when ya know I don’t.And ladies there’s no shame buying men’s grooming stuff to groom your lady bits and legs. But there’s probably a better tool out there than this. It’s just convenient with the attachments. Would like to see a cleaner shave obviously. It’s a bit clunky but that’s really because it’s not for the purpose I’m using it for 😆 so it be what it be.Wish there was a ladies one of these that was ergonomically shaped for our stuff.

This trimmer has many good points but a few things puzzle me?
There are quite a few good things that I like about this beard trimmer. But there are some things about it that have me extremely puzzled. I will start with the things that I like and then go on to the negative aspects. One of the first things that I noticed about it that is superior to my current beard trimmer the way the Combs attach to it. With my current trimmer they slide on and are only held with a few tiny tabs. This led to the possibility of them falling off and putting unwanted nicks into the beard. With this trimmer each of the attachment Combs has very long ears that go down deep into the trimmer itself. I realize this description is not very clear so I made and included a video with the trimmer head off and how a comb attaches to it. You can see how long the ears are and how there is no possibility of it coming off accidentally. Another major advantage of this trimmer over my old one is the fact that it is cordless. The cord on my old one has gotten to the point that it was always tangled up and hanging down in the way and I’m very happy to move on to a cordless model. Initially this is very sharp and cuts very well. At this point I am very happy with this aspect. We will see overtime if it continues to stay sharp. I expect it will but if it doesn’t I will return and amend the review. Another thing I really like about this is the organizational tray that comes with it. It is well thought out and has a place for everything. It has nice, non slip feet on the bottom to keep it from sliding around on the bathroom countertop. This trimmer is quieter than my current one which is nice.Now on to the negative and puzzling aspects of this trimmer. First, it indicates in the listing and is even mentioned in some of the reviews that it has multiple speeds. I cannot find anywhere in the instruction manual where this is addressed. I have included pictures of all of the pages of the manual so you can verify if there is something that I missed. I have also tried pushing the on off button with long presses, short presses, double presses, anything I could think of that might do it. There are no other buttons on the unit so that is the only option. The only thing I can think of that would explain why some previous reviews seem to have multiple speeds and mine doesn’t is that there has been some change in the unit over time and they just have not updated the listing? The other thing that I cannot figure out is that there is a dial on the front that appears to do absolutely nothing. The instructions say that it is an adjustment for the length of cut. My old trimmer has such an adjustment, and when i move it I can see exactly how the blade position is changing in order to get a different length of cut. With this one I can see no changes being affected at all by turning the dial all the way in both directions. I have looked at it with the cutting heads on the trimmer and also with the cutting heads off the trimmer so that I could see if anything was happening internally. The only thing that I haven’t tried, but i’m tempted to try is to disassemble the whole unit and figure out what the heck is going on inside. I suppose it’s possible that there is some linkage that is not connected between the dial and the head but frankly I can’t even see where there is any possible way for the head to move. I did see a few other reviews where they were wondering what the dial was for since it didn’t seem to do anything.In summary, I think this trimmer will still serve my purposes and if nothing I have said has concerned you, then I think you might still want to give this trimmer a try. Its overall build quality seems pretty good and it does have a lot of positive points.To help understand how I rate items:My philosophy is, that for a rating system to be effective, the highest rating and the lowest rating should be reserved for a relatively small percentage of the best and the worst products. If I give a product four stars, it is because I believe it is a very good product. To get five stars from me requires a product to go above and beyond and really impress me beyond my expectations. By the same token, a product has to be VERY, VERY bad to get only one star from me. One thing that I DON’T take into consideration with my ratings is price. I may make a general statement such as “this is a good value” but it will not affect my star rating. The reason is that product prices change, even from day-to-day. Also what one person may consider a good price someone else might not. I feel it is more important to review the quality and features of a product and let the buyer decide whether the current price is worth it to them. Another thing that I don’t take into consideration are issues with shipping. This is because the seller does not always have control over that. Following is each of the five categories of *stars* and how I assign them to a product:***** Five stars – The product exceeded my expectations. I really love it and would actively suggest it to friends and would certainly purchase it again if needed.**** Four stars – The product met my expectations. It does what it claims to do. I like it and would recommend it to someone if they asked about it. I would Most likely purchase it again if needed .*** Three stars – The product is average and for the most part does what it claims. There may be a few things I don’t like about it. If I recommended it to someone, I would state my reservations. I may purchase it again if I could not find a better alternative.** Two stars – The product fell far short of my expectations. It may, in some respects, do what it claims to do but has far too many problems to overlook. I would never recommended it to someone nor would I ever purchase it again. There is a good possibility I would return it.* One star – The product is terrible. It has way too many cons and few if any pros. I would actively warn my friends away from it and would most likely return it if possible.
