Great Value…it works
First, let me say that I am a big guy (6 Ft., 280 lbs) and I normally wear a 3X. I bought this one size up because of another review and it fits great. I have never owned one of these types of shirts and so have no other brand to compare it to. However, if it fits, does what it says it will do, and is cost-effective then it is a great value. This shirt matches all three of those criteria.I bought this shirt to take to a youth camp in Florida where we spend most of our days outside either doing sports, swimming, or other outdoor activity. The idea of not having to stop every 30 minutes and reapply sunblock only to seat it off almost instantly was appealing so I went for it.The shirt was delivered in a timely fashion and immediately I was struck with the quality of the material. The seams are sewn to lie flat and provide the utmost comfort. The fit was as expected and the color scheme was exactly as depicted on the site. getting straight to the point, however, I wore the shirt for the duration of the camp in the scorching Florida sun and it did not fail. I did not once get burned or have to feel the stinging pain of sunblock-laden sweat dripping into my eyes.The only thing that was even remotely disappointing was the pocket. The zipper worked well and the pocket is definitely roomy enough. However, if you put anything in it that has any weight at all the pocket hangs down below the bottom hem of the shirt. I put a couple of dollars and about $1.25 in change in there and it just hung a little bit below the hem, which did not hinder performance, but certainly was no longer hidden. It’s not a big deal, but the manufacturer would have done better to tack the pocket to the shirt all the way around.At a price that is far more reasonable than many brands available, the is a performance shirt that works well at a bargain price. just buy it!

Great shirt! Order a size up though if you want it loose fitting. These are super comfortable and have held up in the wash nicely. I liked this one so much I ordered others in different colors. The side pocket isn’t much to write home about buti I don’t care if it had one or not. The breathability of these shirts are great. It is super light and feels great even in hot weather

Material is nice and light. I believe itâs meant to be worn without an under shirt and noticed immediately how cool it felt after putting it on. The attached hood adds to the sun protection in case you need it.Pulled it out of the washer and it was barely damp which shows itâs a fast drying material. I felt it was priced lower than some well know fishing brands that sell these types of Sun shirts. No regrets so far.

To be expected other than color
Looks much more red on photo than in person. It’s labled “coral red” so I did anticipate a lighter red but it’s almost like a salmon Pink in my hands. Husband isn’t much of a “pink” guy. Aside from the color it’s a great shirt. Nice material. Fits to size. Hood is a little awkward but my husband doesn’t mind it. Just be aware on the color thing!

The long sleeves, coupled with the fitted hood provide good protection from the sun.This shirt has been perfect for various activities. I took it camping and it is lightweight and dries very quickly. Iâve worn it to bike around town and wicks moisture while keeping you cool.As a carpenter, I found the full sleeves + light hood to be perfect for work when Iâm framing outside and especially handy when doing roofing work in the sun.4/5 stars because for $40/each itâs a bit pricey. I feel like $20-30 would be a much more reasonable cost for the shirts. The two-tone pattern is a nice touch!
