Perfect addition to our gymnastics mat
We are loving this AWSUM Inflatable Gymnastics Barrel Roller. This has been a great addition to our inflatable gymnastics Tumbling Mat to help my 6 year old start training her back and flexibility for a Back Handspring or forward handstand/roll. We have the air pump that was included with our gymnastics mat so that isn’t an issue for us but others may find that a deal breaker if they don’t have a pump or shop vac to help blow this up. You would definitely want one, it isn’t one you can blow up manually from your own breath. Pay attention to size variations based on your tumbler. The smallest size is still a tad big for my 6 year old but shes doing quite well with it, while still requiring an adult to assist from the side. It has definitely helped save my own back vs. me using my hands to arch her back and push her legs over. I’m very happy with this roller. It is every bit the quality, durability and functionality as the ones I see at gymnastics studios.

Sizing Chart May Be off… butstill fun
I ordered this to give my 3 year old more at home gymnastics equipment while we take a break over winter. She just likes to play on the equipment, so this seemed like it could be fun. She’s on the shorter end of the chart for the small option, and it seems to be a bit too big for her to roll over and reach, but is still fun to play on. She’ll grow into it and will have tons of fun, though!

Great for small gymnast
I ordered this for my daughter who is 10yrs old and it is the perfect size! She says it is comfortable and easy to use to help her practice her various tumbling and bending that she does for gymnastics. It feels like its made of strong material that most workout or gymnastics mats are made of . Wipes clean with damp cloth and some soapy water. Over all a great piece of equipment to have to help my tiny tumbler.

Seems durable and capable
I inflated this using a battery powered HVLP compressor and could not get it fully “tight.” so there were some wrinkles in it. However, that seems the better as when the kids started using it, it needed that extra bit of volume when weight was added.So, I watched this thing take a full on gymnastic attack for almost an hour. Three kids, aged 9-5. It was a bit too big for the smallest to reach back and touch but that did not slow them down at all. It served its purpose as intended.I ended up also using it much in the same way those giant exercise balls are used and it was more stable and verstile. So the exercise ball is getting deflated and this will become a dual purpose item.

This roller is perfect for my 8 and 12 year olds learning back handsprings. I even use it for stretching, flexibility and off pole conditioning. It has gotten plenty of use since arriving and we haven’t had to re-inflate yet. I am considering getting the largest size for myself.
