I saw many new feeders with required app connection. And many complaints about that too. I didnât want anything high tech.
This is simple and works. My food addicted cat is unable to get at the food inside. I love that it does not make a beeping sound when food is dispensed. The options it provides are excellent. I chose not to use the voice recorder.
Minor cons: A dog might be able to figure out how to open the top. Tape, or something heavy placed on top may help.

The recording feature is super nice you can record a phrase and it will announce it twice at each food time – the recording is pretty loud just a heads up. This set up quick, the kibble fits perfectly inside the container and dispenses well. My cat loves it! It was easy to set up and understand with the directions and works great! Not loud at all! The speed the kibble comes out is not so fast that it spills everywhere but fast enough to get it out for my cat to gobble it up. Definitely recommend!

Worked Just Fine – Needs a SMall Adjustment
I purchased two (2) of these items for my cats while my wife & I went away for vacation. The instructions were easy to follow and the device was easy to set up. The only issue I found was that there’s no explanation of what constitutes a serving portion. I had to end up resetting the feeding instructions based on trial & error because the amounts that are distributed are just too much dry food.

Loving this cat food dispenser so far! I’m able to set up 6 different meals per the day, and set the portions I want. So far it’s working wonderfully!! I’ve only had it almost 2 weeks. In trying to keep my cats weight good, I don’t have to put food out for while I’m at work. He loves his food and would probably eat all of it right at that setting. And, I don’t have to get u early in the morning when he’s crying for his food, because it will be there for him. Just makes your life a little less hectic while having a cat. Hope it continues to work for many years. I also got the stainless steel plate because from all the research I’ve done, it’s better to have than the plastic because plastic gets scratches so easily and germs can remain in those scratches even though it has been cleaned. Still need to clean the stainless steel plate often though, but that’s alright. Vary easy to set up the time and meal portions. It even includes a card with portion info and suggestions for the size of your cat. And very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend.

Nice cat feeders (2 purchased)
Holds a lot of cat food. Very easy to program, clean, and the cats love it. Battery backup came in handy when hurricane Helene came thru. I didn’t have to worry about cats getting feed on time. So far everything is great. The time does get behind. Every week it gets 1 minute behind, so you do have to readjust, very simple takes less than 10 seconds to do. I would purchase this product again.

Cleaning is not as easy as others
This was easy to set up and kept time (a problem we have had with others) for the short period we kept it.
My complaint was the cleaning ability. The food tank is ridiculously tough to get off the base to clean. The instructions list the food tank as a washable part and it shows it in the sink in one of the pictures but it is not clear how to separate it from the base. There is no technical support for this item so I called Amazon and that representative told me the food tank does not come off the base. Well, it does. I figured she was wrong and after playing with it for a while, just yanked it off the base sending the remaining pieces of food that were buried in the space between the food tank and base flying everywhere. (The cats thoroughly enjoyed cleaning up the mess.) My worry was the clips holding it to the base would be quick to break as it did not seem like there were any tricks to getting it apart other than just yanking it off, so I returned it. If you plan to never separate it to wash, it seems like a nice unit. Some reviews complained about setup instructions or no feeding serving size information. The instructions were fine except the cleaning instructions lacked information on how to get the food tank off. There is a serving size chart that is simple enough to use.
3 stars for cleaning ability/instructions or lack thereof and the difficulty separating the food tank from the base which could be an easy fix. Others have little slide mechanisms to unlatch the tank from the base making it very easy.
