I tried several different pet feeders before choosing these. I got the 2 pack thinking my cats would eat separately, but they don’t.But instead of returning the 2 pack and getting just one (saving myself $20). I decided to give the second one to my mom.Why? It’s easy to fill and program. It holds enough food for 2 weeks for my cats (one month for her small dog). Animals now get fed at a consistent time every day, even if I want to sleep in.Most importantly this one, unlike the others i tried, is ANT Proof.It’s easy to wash the food bowl and food reservoir, but a little challenging to clean the mechanical parts (since you can’t immerse it in water). But I think a baby bottle nipple brush will fit to clean that.

Best investment made. Holds good amount of dry food, pets cannot get the lid off, super easy assembly & cleaning. Anyone who’s programmed a digital alarm clock or thermostat can easily program this unit. Love the lock button on the front so no accidental program changes or manual feeds occur. Took a couple of tries to get portions correct but easily done. I have both running on same batteries since receiving in Dec 2023. Each unit has 4 programmed daily feedings. Would buy again

I love these as they do not need wifi, they can all be plugged into an outlet strip (we have 3 total of these bowls) and the metal bowl is easily cleanable and NOT plastic! We have 3 cats and they hear the kibble hit the bowls and all go running. Very good upgrade to our older Petsafe bowls.

What a wonderful product. Bought 3… would buy again.
I have 3 hairless cats. One of them (Lucille Bald) might be a pig in disguise. She will eat her own, then bully the other two away from their bowls so she can eat theirs too. These are wonderful. I have them programmed to feed them 6 times per day. When they start dispensing food (which I imagine sounds like a slot machine in Vegas giving them a payout), they all come running. Because I can control the portions of how much comes out each time. They are all a perfect amount of food. The other two have enough time to eat theirs before she is done eating hers. It has given them all a chance to enjoy mealtimes. Bonus is also that during the night when one of them loves to wake us up to feed him (Toby Der Schlingel) it just drops them a little snack late at night. My sleep has gotten better and so has Lucille Bald’s attitude. Brava!

Anything that makes me work less and save time is a great investment. Just plugged it in and took me about 3 minutes to figure it out, super simple; no need to read a manual. I saw an article that a 10 pund cat needs around 3/4 to 1 cup every 24hrs.6 times a day spreading the schedule every 3 hrs with a 1 serving size its about 3/4 of a cup. They were overeating and throwing up almost every day; this feeders have prevented that.Hope you find this review helpful.

Very hard to set up multiple feeders
I did not have very high expectations knowing that it’s a basic inexpensive feeder. My goal was to have something that would not let my cats die while I am taking a short trip. I will start from cons. I have three cats, everyone who has three cats knows that they should get their food at the same time; otherwise, they’d all start eating from the same plate. My cats are also on a diet, they are fat and always hungry, so not only would they eat from the same plate, they would also fight. My idea was to set up the same time on all three feeders and then set the same schedule. Easy? Good luck with that. I thought setting up the time should not be an issue, you just unlock all three feeders, enter the time and then click a set button on all three simultaneously. Obviously, that’s not how it works. You set up the time on the first one, then you try to set up the second one, and by the time you are ready, the first one locks itself and rolls back to the original settings. Also, you have to set the time and go through the entire scheduling exercise before it saves new settings. You do it on one, then you set the later time on the second one and wait for the first one to synch, then quickly go through the schedule and save your settings. Then you do the same thing on the third feeder. Needless to say, they do not dispose the food exactly at the same time, but after a bunch of attempts I was able to make them work within a few seconds. Don’t ask me how frustrated I was at the end.Issue number two: they are small and not very stable. Three cats on a diet spend all their free time trying to figure out how to get the food out of the feeders. Here I have to compliment the manufacturer, my cats can’t open the feeders or pull the food out through the opening. They can however, knock the feeders very easily. I wish there were suction cups on the bottom so I could stick the feeders to the tile or hardwood floor. I hope one day my cats will figure out that knocking the feeders does not help, but who knows, cats are weird and persistent in their weirdness.Now the pros: these are inexpensive and nice looking feeders that have a surprisingly good quality of the materials for this price. The dish is made from metal, and the first time the food fell out, it scared a hell out of my cats, but they quickly realized that this sound means their diet is over for a little while. The schedule works pretty well so far. I had an issue once when all of the sudden all three feeders stopped working for no reason. I went through the schedule without making any changes, and it fixed the problem. Hope it was a one time glitch maybe due to a power spike at night. I have to install the batteries, so it would not happen in the future. The portion control is also pretty good. I had to play with the size for a few days, but now when everything is set, I think my cats are getting a correct amount of food. Now I have to figure out how to handle one of the cats that inhales all the food like a vacuum cleaner and tries to steal from others, but I guess I can only do it with a fancy feeder that has a face control.Overall rating: three solid stars meaning it is satisfactory. Not very good, not excellent, but it does what it should do, and if I was not so mad setting them up, or at least if the instructions were more detailed and explained how to set up multiple feeders, I would have given four stars.

Por motivo de un viaje que realice, me vi en la necesidad de adquirir los comederos automáticos, en lo personal no querÃa invertir mucho dinero porque tengo 2 gatos y encontré estos, adicional querÃa algo que funcionara correctamente, leà las reseñas y todos opinaban que estos comederos eran muy buenos, sin embargo, no siempre se puede ser objetivo en las reseñas.1.-Los comederos llegaron en tiempo y en perfectas condiciones.2.-El material (plástico) se ve bien, la calidad no es superior ni nada por estilo, simplemente están bien.3.-Necesitas comprar las pilas si no quieres conectarlos y en promedio gaste $380 más porque usan 3 pilas D4.-Las instrucciones vienen en inglés y aunque ya puedes tomar fotos y traducir la imagen, lo ideal serÃa que estuvieran en español e inglés.5.-La programación es âsencillaâ, sólo tiene opción para 6 raciones diarias, por lo que depende de cómo alimentes a tus gatos para programearlas.6.-Uno de mis gatos entendió inmediatamente, pero el otro al tener algunos traumas por ruidos fuertes, le costo trabajo acercarse y todavÃa se espanta cuando lo escucha.7.-No es silencioso, mi hogar es pequeño, por lo que los tengo cerca del dormitorio y al tener plato de acero hace ruido cuando sirve la comida.8.-Si el tamaño de las croquetas no es el adecuado de repente puede atascarlo y aunque, aparentemente servió la comida, si no lo revisas puede que no las haya arrojado.9.-No puedes limpiarlo por dentro, únicamente puedes limpiarlo con un trapo, asà que las moronas se quedan por dentro y/o tendrás que aspirarlo o sacudirlo, esto no me gustó. Sólo puedes lavar la base del plato y la cubierta del comedero.10.-Trae un par de platos, pero puedes quitarlos y dejar los de tus gatos.En general considero que están bien, pero para cuando tengas que salir por muchos dÃas sà veo necesario que alguien vaya a ver a tus gatos y revise que funcionen bien los comederos, sobre todo que sirva la comida.Yo sirvo la ración que les corresponde por dÃa, fue cuando servà para más dÃas que empezó a atascarse, pero también influye el tamaño de la croqueta.
