Love the RFID tech!
I am loving the ease of use with this automatic cat feeder and the RFID tech is working great so far.I’ve looked for an auto feeder for a few weeks and there aren’t a lot that are designed for multiple cat homes. We have 2 cats with one on a restricted diet so the ability to program the feeder based on RFID chips on collars so that only the food meant for one cat is available is a great feature.I like the size and it’s very quiet. Cleaning is super easy and Boba + Sam love it.I would recommend, will come back and leave an update in a couple months and see how things are going.

Purrrfect for our medical needs food cat
We have a Himalayan cat that requires special wet cat food for her dietary needs. She grazes on her small can all day and doesn’t eat it all in one sitting. We have another cat that doesn’t require any special dietary foods. For this reason we placed their foods on opposite ends of the house but it wasn’t too long before the non-needs cat found the food. We tried shutting the door where it’s kept but my kids would forget. Her food is quite expensive so after what seems like him going through a case of her food I went searching for a permanent solution. I read reviews on this rfid feeder and decided to try it since it was for both wet and dry food plus able to customize for free feeding.It was super easy to set up following the instructions and it’s not too big, I love that it holds her cat food at an angle for her to eat. Being at an angle I feel like she eats more at a time and wastes less. (Himalayan have a flat face making it hard for them to eat.) It only took her about 30 minutes to figure out how to use it and she never was scared of it. Just confused at first why it would close. I think at first it’s very sensitive to the rfid and it would open and close more than it needed as she was sitting there. It’s day 2 and it functions as it should by opening when she’s there and closing when she leaves. The other cat has tried to come steal the food. Once he was able to get there before it fully closed. It didn’t hurt him shutting but he knew he wasn’t allowed to keep his head in the bowl. He only had enough time to sniff before it was closing on him. Problem solved and I highly recommend!!

Love the look and concept
The size is great and perfect for our cat. We got this so we can have our cat food out and the dog canât get in to it. So hoping with the microchip reader it will do just that! Setting up was simple and itâs not loud

Cat will not get near it due to how loud the door is when opening, cheaply built
We got this feeder for our younger cat since she is a slower eater and our older cat likes to steal food from her. However, she’s afraid to use the feeder due to how loud the door is when it opens. We’ve tried to get her accustom to the feeder by leaving the door open and powered off, but we noticed that she dislikes eating from it due to how cramped the inside is. We think it’s causing significant “whisker fatigue” and the manufacturer should consider making the opening wider.Furthermore, the build quality is of the feeder is cheap due to the budget plastic construction. If we kept the feeder, we would have wished for it to include a metal bowl at the very least. Overall would not recommend this product.

Update to below review: Customer service was truly 10/10. They said their next batch of feeders will come without the noise and theyâre doing updates as needed. If this feeder is whatâs in your budget, post updates, this machine could be worth it. They refunded me and were so kind and tentative along the way. Thatâs priceless. I changed my previous 2 stars to 3.For some reason every time this feeder closes, it sends out loud beeping sounds. As someone with a cat that grazes (heâs 18y and has to graze because his health conditions) this feature is slightly unbearable. I own their competitors microchip feeder and I wanted to try a new version due to the food sometimes pushing over the lip of the bowl and obstructing the close feature (it still closes and does its job, just slightly wonky) in my current one. But, the one I have now is far superior compared to this one.Pros:- Sleek design- Is shaped like a bowl and doesnât have a ledge between the bowl and opening (competitor does, donât love it)- the close feature is nice in the way food doesnât get in the way and the doors come from the side, but it is loud- the inside bowl seems like nice qualityCons:- Why does it need to beep every single time it closes? Why isnât there a mute option? Maybe the other reviewers donât have grazing cats? Thereâs no mute option.-The closing mechanism sometimes malfunctions if the chip falls below the feeders opening it seems. This spooked my cat as he trust his other feeder not to close on him.I returned this feeder and bought a different one.
