Starts up as soon as you plug it in but I found the you tube tutorial Lumary Smart Galaxy Projector Light by QuickTipsTo helpful in using it right. The moving color clouds or ocean effect is very good. It only uses a short usb cord about 3 feet long for power so you can plug into your pc but if you want to use a standard outlet just get a usb adapter. The ‘stars’ are more like non moving disco laser points in a repeating pattern but pretty and they can fade in and out which is good. We got it for some atmosphere while gaming and does great! It’s about the size of a coffee pot, sturdy, and light weight. It projects not in a full 180 degree horizon to horizon but it is in a very wide cone (look at Amazon example pictures when it’s near a wall) and if on your desk keyboard level, close to you, and you’re sitting up straight it will glow in your eyes but is a very soft glow and easily ignored. I liked that the speaker can use your smart phone’s music app/site but it’s small, has no dynamics, and is more for a little quiet background mood or for sleeping. The lights make a very faint buzz sound, if sleeping with it on it wouldn’t bother me but someone else might want to have it play soft music or just not put it by your head. The projector can pulse/flicker with the music but it’s more like a cloud strobe effect and is annoying with the little speaker but can also pulse to an outside speaker source which if loud enough might be a good mix, otherwise with one button you can turn off the strobe effect on the unit its self, the remote, or the smart phone.

This light is a very affordable option to the more expensive ones. I really like this one so much! Very soothing. I have bad anxiety and i find that this helps me feel calm at night so i can relax and sleep. The app is super easy to use and is fun to create your own colors, speed and star brightness. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a galaxy light!

I spent weeks searching for the perfect projector for my kidsâ room. There were three major features that were top priority:1. Adjustability, not stationary. Most projectors only point upwards. 2. Variety of colors 3. Has stars or some sort of space theme.For adjustability: it has a stand and the egg can be moved at whichever angle desired. This is perfect because I can place the projector anywhere in the room. Colors are basic greens, blues, reds, purples – all in auroras. Itâs actually pretty cool and mesmerizing to look it. The âstarsâ are just plain green dots that donât look like stars, so that was kind of a disappointment. They could have done better with that feature, but it is nice to have a setting where you could just have stars, aurora, and aurora with stars. The stars also fade in and out, which is somewhat bothersome, if it had a dimmer setting instead, that would be better.This projector has a Bluetooth setting, Iâm assuming for music? I havenât tried that feature yet, but that wasnât my main concern, probably wonât be a feature I will use much for the kids. They already think this is a cool projector and get excited about it. The last thing I wish it came with was its own wall plug, it came with wire but no adapter. We have extra adapters to use for stuff like this but they really should provide that as part of the product.Since the kids love it, Iâd say theyâd give it 5 stars. As for me, Iâm taking off a star because I was expecting more. Maybe they could have left out the Bluetooth setting to add more themes or other features or maybe shapes that are dinosaur related since it literally is in a shape of a dinosaur egg. Nice concept, but I definitely would suggest a few improvements.

Bought this item in Aug 2022 and it is now Aug 2023. The product worked super well had an app and everything. I ended up forgetting about the device and only used it maybe 10 times total. Found it last night and used it again setting it on the 1hr timer and after about 2 minutes the whole thing stopped functioning. Such a bummer. Wish I could get money back from it, but itâs been so long.. really a bummer because the lights on it are gorgeous⦠ð
